Organizers of the Adron Games say the 2021 edition which is the fifth, will hold at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, Ogun State between 18th and 20th November 2021.
At the official logo unveiling and Press conference held at Adron House, Magodo, Lagos State today, the Group Managing Director, Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing who was represented by a top official of the company Mrs. Sonariwo noted that the company knows how imperative it is to develop sports since it’s a viable way of keeping fit and living a healthy life.
He noted that this year’s edition will be bigger in all spheres particularly in the area of the welfare of participants, medals and prize money which will be much more than what was offered at the last edition.
Bearing their minds on the upcoming event tagged “Be Fit For The Top”, Ex Internationals Daniel Amokachi and technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation Augustine Eguavoen who were unveiled as ambassadors of the Adron Games alongside Olympian Chief Falilat Ogunkoya stressed that the idea of a private sector putting up something of such magnitude is a revelation that Nigeria is gradually getting to see sports as a business and not just recreation.
With some schools expected to take part in the event, more than 700 athletes will jostle for honours at the Adron games 2021 in football, athletics, wrestling and other sports.
Staffers of the reputable real estate company will slug it out among themselves, each team is referred to as a continent meaning the Gateway continent, headquarter continent, Island and mainland continent among others will go to the battlefield when the event takes centre stage.
General coordinator of the Adron Games, Ex International Waidi Akanni assured of something special and gave kudos to the organization for setting a rare pace.
Also present at the event were ambassadors of Adron Homes, Actors Jigan Baba Oja and Bimbo Thomas, ex-internationals like Victor Agali, Friday Elaho, Friday Ekpo and Loveday Omoruyi were also in attendance
