Africa is taking charge of its music industry; one of the fastest growing vehicles of its rich culture, tradition and urbane lifestyles. The big music brands in Africa and the Diaspora will be meeting to engage and network at the 2017 Africa Music Business Roundtable (AMBR). The AMBR is one of the main events of the 2017 All Africa Music Awards. The theme that will guide all the sessions of engagement on Friday, 10th of November 2017 at the Grand Ballroom, Eko Hotel and Suites by 4PM is ‘Digital Takeover; Shaping the Future of African Music’.

The AMBR Keynote speakers are General Manager Sony Music Entertainment Ltd. (Nigeria); Micheal Ugwu, Managing Director, Trace TV Nigeria, Samo Onyemelukwe (Nigeria), Talent Business DirectorJTV Digital France, Jérémie Varengo (France), Chairperson Moshito Music Conference and Exhibition South Africa; Dr. Sipho Sithole (South Africa), Head of A&R, Okay Music,Rikki Stein and the CEO, DKM Media, Dbanj, amongst other top music executives.

The event will be moderated by Wax, Dey, Co-founder Calabash Associates (South Africa), and Laura Dave, CEO, Laura Dave Productions (Cameroon). Founder and CEO, Emblue Nigeria, Kelvin Orifa.
