In a bid to finally eradicate smuggling, wrong declaration of cargo and other anti-economic vices, the Nigeria Customs Service and its counterpart in the Benin Republic, have today entered into a bilateral connectivity agreement.

The agreement reached just a few minutes ago at the Nigeria Customs/ Benin Republic Stakeholders meeting on Connectivity, presently ongoing inside the ECOWAS BUILDING, Seme border is aimed at facilitating trade between both countries. The agreement will be signed at a later date this month by both countries.
