In a society where looking beautiful is synonymous with being light-skinned, she offered a different perspective of what beauty means. She consistently made the point that you can be ebony complexioned and be beautiful. She retained her jet black complexion and was still very, very stunning in her looks.

As the wife of Alhaji Rashidi Ladoja, the Governor of Oyo State she was always looking stately and elegant,despite the fact that she elected to be simple in her ways.
She kept to her traditional suku hairstyle. She used to plait her hair the traditional way and she uses local adi agbon,(Shea butter) as a body cream. She went for local fabrics and helped to promote these fabrics among other celebrity women.
She was relatively younger then. She was in her 50s. That was in the 90s.
Now,she is 66, and this Ibadan born, respected chief,who is one of Olubadan of Ibadan’s chiefs still looks smashing any time she steps out to events and parties.
She looks good.She looks ageless.And she has remained her elegant looking self.City people spotted her at
a recent wedding in Ibadan and she looked stunning.She is blessed with the height and figure that will make you look at her again and again and again.
No wonder she has remained a role model for other ladies to follow.We almost forgot to tell you that she has a unique way she ties her gele that stands her out.
