The Iru Kingdom in the Lagos Island axis of Lagos was painted purple and white on Sunday, September 6, 2020 as many popular celebrities turned up in different stylish white and purple colour outfits.
The event which marked the official installation of Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal as the 15th Oniru of Iruland held at the palace of the Oba in Lagos.
Many Lagos celebrity men and women like Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the deputy gov of Lagos, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, Lagos State first Lady,Mrs Ibironke Sanwo-Olu Erelu of Lagos, Erelu Abiola Dosumu, and others all turned up in captivating white and purple attires.
The most fascinating view of the day was the intimidating throne of the kabiyesi which stood out uniquely on the high table.
