•As Top Politicians Storm The Grand Wedding In LAGOS
On Saturday 10th June 2017, the children of 2 popular families, the Adeyeyes and Adedirans joined their children in holy matrimony, as the White wedding of their children took place in Lagos. The groom, Simon Adesola Adediran, is the son of Pastor A. J. Adediran and Mrs. E.A. Adediran, while the bride, Oluwaseun Adebisi is the daughter of ex-Minister and a prince from a royal family in Ikere-Ekiti, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye. The church service took place at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Gbagada, Lagos. Reception followed immediately and took place at M2 Arena Event Centre, Ogudu, Lagos.
It was attended by very important personalities. City People Society Reporter, MOTUNRAYO KESHIRO and Photo Journalist FEMI ADELEKE were there.
THE WEDDING TOOK PLACE INSIDE THE M2 ARENA EVENTS CENTRE
The colourful wedding took place inside the new M2 marquee at M2 Arena Association Avenue extension in Ogudu in Lagos. The venue is along the popular Alapere-Ogudu Expressway and the car park was filled to the brim. There was enough parking space which accommodated as many cars as possible.
The lovely hall was well decorated in snow white. It had over 2000 guests from the 2 families and every one had a place to sit. The transparent chavari chairs and blush pink table decorations all added beauty to the event.
OPENING PRAYER BY SENATOR BEN OBE
The event started some minutes past 1pm. The opening prayer was led by Senator Ben Obi, the National Secretary of People Democratic Party (PDP). He arrived the event early and spent many hours.
THE DAY WAS ALL ABOUT THE COUPLES
The newest couple in town Simon and Seun looked nice in their choice of outfit for the day which was very unique. The bride wore a very lovely and expensive shoes and she exuded opulence. The groom also wore an expensive suit with tie which looked so cute and regal on him.
CHAIRMAN OF THE OCCASION WAS GOV. SERIAKE DICKSON
Governor of Bayelsa, Seriake Dickson was the Chairman of the Ocassion. He was among the early callers who came all the way from Bayelsa to honour the bride’s father, Dayo Adeyeye. He was looking so radiant in his black native outfit matching it with black cap. He gave some words of encouragement and advice to the couples and took lovely pictures with the couples and their parents.
GOV. AYODELE FAYOSE GRACED THE EVENT
At the wedding was the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose who was without his wife. He coordinated the cutting of the cake. He spelt love, gave the couples words of wisdom and adviced them on how to sustain their marriage.
3 ROYAL FATHERS WERE PRESENT
At the event were 3 royal fathers who came all the way from Ekiti. They are HRM Oba Adetunji Ajayi (the Arinjale of Ise Ekiti), HRM Oba Fasiku Ajibade and his pretty wife, Oloori Esther Fasiku (Elekole of Ikole Ekiti and Paramount Ruler of Egbe-Oba) and HRM Oba Adejimi Adu Akigbudo Ogoga of Ikere Kingdom. They were all gorgeously dressed in their royal outfits to the event.
SENATOR AHMED MAKARFI STORMS EVENT
Ahmed Makarfi, the ex-Gov. of Kaduna State and the (PDP) National Chairman stormed event. He came very early for the church service but left to attend other political functions. He led all the top (PDP) executives to the event. He was looking so radiant in his expensive blue guinea brocade matched with blue cap.
MEET THE GROOMS PARENTS
The groom’s parents, Pastor A.J. Adediran hails from Ibadan, he is a retired Vice Principal of Methodist Grammar School, Bodija Ibadan and also a Pastor at Christ Versen of Grace Church under the leadership of Bishop Kayode William) in Ibadan and Mrs. E.A. Adediran is a retired Assistant Head Teacher at Cheshiree Primary School, Ijokodo, Ibadan. Both parents were full of joy as they witnessed the day they have all been waiting for. Both parents dazzled in their various choice of outfit looking so unique and lovely on them.
AND THE BRIDES PARENTS TOO
The bride’s parents, Prince and Princess Adedayo Adeyeye hails from Ekiti State. Prince Dayo Adeyeye is a prominent (PDP) executive member. He is the National Publicity Secretary of the party and the current Chairman of the University’s Governing Council and the prochancellor of the Ekiti State Univeristy. Princess Adeyeye wore a very expensive cream mixed with pink outfit with a matching gold headgear, with her lovely jewellery to compliment it.
GROOMS FRIENDS WERE ALSO PRESENT
Some of the grooms friends were present at the event. They were all looking so cute and handsome in their blue suit and pitch tie. Those present were Opeyemi Praise, Daniel Joel, Damilare Ogungbesan, Oladayo Adedokun, Ibrahim Iyanuoluwa (best man) amongst others.
AND THE BRIDES FRIENDS TOO
Many of the brides friends were present at the event. They all turned out in their pitch dress with the same hair style and they all reflected it in their make-up, looking so gorgeous and pretty on them. Those present are Tofunmi Adeyeye, Sope Adeyeye, Sope Adebayo, Flavour, Adaeze, Ebun Ayelabola.
WEDDING COLOURS BLUSH PINK & ROYAL BLUE
The colours of the day were blush pink and royal blue. Both colours mixed did justice to guests outfit as they came out nice on everyone. Many of the guests wore blush pink outfits, while the headgears which were the gele abisold was a mix of blush pink and royal blue.
EX-PDP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN WAS AT THE CHURCH
The former (PDP) National Chairman and the ex-Gov. of Bauch State, Alhaji Ahmadu Adamu Mu’Azu attended the church service. He came early, spent few hours and left immediately after the church programm to attend to other functions.
FORMER GOV. GBENGA DANIEL & DEPUTY GOV. IYIOLA OMISORE TOO
The ex-Governor of Ogun State Otunba Gbenga Daniels (OGD) and the former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Iyiola Omisore also attended the church service. They were among the early callers but left immediately after the church service to attend other functions.

Member of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti were present at the event. They came to show love and support to the bride’s father who is the Chairman of the University Governing Council. Ajayi, Registrar & Secretary to University Council, Akin Arogundade and his pretty wife, University Bursar, Mr. A. T. Taiwo, Dean, Student Affairs Prof. W.O. OVER 30 FOOD VENDORS WERE INVOLVED
The party had over 30 vendors who were paid to handle one thing or the other. They include Esseph Planners, who planned the event, Kykefem Caterings, Coca-Cola Bottling Company in-charge of drinks, Honey Suckle (made the cake), Divine Caterers, Maximus Security among others.
