Born in Ibadan on 2oth March 1967, first child to the late Charles Abimbola Odekunle and Gladys Abosede Odekunle
Primary at All saint church school, Jericho, Ibadan. In 1977, he gained admission into, international school, Ibadan and finished his O levels in 1982. He then proceeded to the polytechnic Ibadan for his A’ levels. In 1984, He was admitted into the computer science Faculty at the Prestigious University of Ibadan, where he obtained his bachelor of science, 1st degree in computer science in 1988.
He started his professional career in 1990 at Inlax computer limited as a technical sales and support staff and he rose to become the product marketing manager. By the time he left in 1996, he truly believe he could sell any product as he amiable demonstrated throughout his career and management positions he held at various multinational and cutting-edge corporations. It was obvious to all who knew Babajide that sales was his forte and he was very good at it. In his early days in sales and marketing, he would routinely asked his friends that lived with him in Gbagada area to sell him a pen, that he already owns, while sharing stories of his exploits.
In 1998, he joined GS Telecoms and was General Manager, Business Development, when he owned his skills in telecommunications and infrastructure development, through the year 2005. After GS Telecommunications, he decided it was time to showcased his creativity in telecommunication structure, Babajide had another stint in 2 years at Suburban telecoms as General Manager, Sales.

His church life
To God be all the glory of budgie had a wonderful Christian life was a strong member of RCCG Promise Land Paris. He was also a House Fellowship Center Host as an Elder in the church you belong to the caleb’s company of the church. Babajide was an active committed member of Christ covenant Deliverance ministry, popularly known as Wakati Itusile. He was Lekki coordinator till the time of his passing.
Babajide encouraged the prayer life of many friends and family members throughout his ministry also actively supported his biological mother’s home church in the Bible the House Of Truth Ministries the word of Truth Bible Church to the church about the Builder and great partner fully supported the church building projects He was a builder and great partner who fully supported the church building project and the church is supposed to work with intensity and his legacies Lives on and many sacrifices he made will surely bear fruit for the kingdom of God as a social person was the consummate Bobby Ball and then I dropped socialize and network is famously called Scooby.
Social circles as a member of the prestigious club 1938 the club served/ diligently as entertainment chairman.
Useful babajide injected new energy into the social and entertainment offered at the club after he was elected as honorary Secretary of the club and served diligently
At the Yoruba Tennis Club, he was the permanent member of Thursday fishing where he sat on the centre table as a member of one and only Lagos Island club.
He was a member of the Congress group and he was deputy leader until he passed on to glory.

Babajide was miles ahead his peers. At a youthful age of 39, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, the Alake of Egbaland spotted this young vibrant talent of Egba stock and decided to confer on him the titlr of Otun Bobagunwa of Egbaland.
This title got him very close to the Kabiyesi as a son, and a confidant. Babajide dutifully fufillef his roles and obligations as a titled Chief of Egbaland

An ardent supporter of Arsenal FC through the highs and the lows of the club, Babajide proudly wore the club’s jersey with Bobagunwa inscribed on the back.
A loyal Friend and mentor
He was a very loyal, dependable and caring friend. He ensured that he made time for everyone. Most especially, he mentored a lot of young people.
He was fondly loved by all members of his family and was bestowed the title Olori Ebi (Head of the family) soon after his father passed and he played that role well.
He was survived by his wife Olubunmi, His Son, Oluwadamilola and beautiful daughter, Oluwatamilore, mother, brother, sisters uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.
