Recently she spoke to City People Publisher SEYE KEHINDE about her winning formula in Fashion. Below are excerpts of the interview.
How do you feel today that is your birthday? What is the feeling like?
I feel grateful to God almighty today for his love and mercies over me and my family. It hasn’t been all rosy but by his grace, we are pulling through.
You have been rated as one of the best-dressed women in Nigeria. How does it make You feel?
I feel privileged to rated as one of the best-dressed women in Nigeria because there are lots of beautiful and well-dressed women in Nigeria.
What are your Fashion secrets? How do you manage to get it right all the time?
My fashion secrets… My no 1 rule in dressing is simplicity and I pay attention to details. There is beauty in simplicity.
You are a fashion influencer. How do you play that role?
Being a fashion influencer, I’m very particular about brands, and their finishing. Because you are addressed as you are dressed. So I try as much as possible to portray a good image of any brand I work it or for.
How did your love for fashion start? How long ago?
Well… I think it’s inborn. Dressing and fashion is an interpretation of who you are. It comes from within and it differs individually. I have always loved to be prim and proper.
What are the Fashion rules that you obey?
My rules are Simplicity, paying attention to details and modesty
What are the Beauty rules that you obey?
My beauty rules … I exfoliate regularly, I don’t go to bed without cleaning off my makeup, I drink a lot of water and lastly, I moisturize a lot
What business do you do?
I’m currently the CEO of Mecs Properties Nig Ltd. We are into real estate.
What is your skincare secret?
I use mainly organic products
