Tottenham’s Harry Kane has warned Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, that he is on the driving seat to win this year’s Premier League Golden Boot award.
Kane is aiming to reach 30 league goals for the first time in his career, after scoring four times in their 6-1 win at Leicester City on Thursday night.
The England striker wants a repeat at Hull City on the final day after moving to 26 goals for the season, two above Lukaku and three more than Alexis in the race for the golden boot.
“To score four for the first time, it’s a good time to do it,” Kane said.
“I was looking to score a couple of goals, I was looking to take the golden boot into the last game, but now I’m in the driving seat.
“I’m not resting on my laurels, and I’ll go to Hull looking to get four more hopefully.”
Kane has now become only the fifth Premier League player to score 25 goals or more in consecutive seasons
