The Federal High Court, Abeokuta, on Wednesday dismissed a suit filed by a member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Oladipupo Adebutu challenging the nomination of Senator Buruji Kashamu as the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State.
Hon. Ladi has however called for calmness and assured his loyalists that the battle is not over. In the statement released by Ladi Adebutu Democratic Organization, party members were assured that necessary consultations would be made so as to actualize the dream of rebirthing a new Ogun.
The Statement reads;
The Ladi Adebutu Democratic Organization wishes to charge our supporters across the state to remain calm, even in the face of provocation and remain undaunted in the resolve to vote into Isale Igbeyin government house a compassionate leader.
It is on record that despite not been governor of the state, Hon. Ladi Adebutu has over the past few years, spent billions of naira in providing succour to people through his several multidimensional community electrification, education and scholarships, road, and healthcare service projects.
We know how challenging the news may be to us, if he could have started working for the people for over three years without spending government money, imagine what he would do when he gets the people’s mandate?”
We therefore call for calm among our supporters across the state, noting that “the struggle of all those who believed in this political ideals would not be wasted.”
The leadership of this structure will make necessary consultations so that the dream of rebirthing a prosperous economy is not truncated by agent of darkness who are hell bent on sabotaging redemption mission.
We urge you to please remain calm and stand firm in the interest of our dear state.
