This Lagos politician has been sighted at a few events lately and to say that he looks super hot will be stating the obvious. A few weeks ago, he was seen at Ogun Politician, Hon Akinlade’s 50th birthday in Owode-Yewa where he came to show support to an APC stalwart of note.
Just Last week, he was a guest at the Olunishola Club House where, Lagos Billionaire, Chief Rasaki Okoya, had a classy 40th birthday for his lovely wife, Dr Shade Okoya.
Koro, who looked super hot and sexy walked in a few minutes past 7pm and sent many of the guests whispering on his good look. Those who could ask him did, wanting to know the secret, while some couldn’t help, but just appreciate his look at 57. What is the secret of his look? What has been his staying power despite all he went through many months ago? City People’s Publisher, Dr Seye Kehinde, and Assistant Society Editor, Abiola Orisile, had a short chat with him on the secret of his good look and what he is up to. Excerpts
How have you been able to maintain your youthful look?
There are some things we do in Life that we cannot take credit for its result. I have a very rigid exercise routine. I am also very strict when it comes to what I put in my mouth. But there are people who have much stricter regime, but they have not been able to achieve the same result. That is why I say I will not want to give myself the glory, so I return the glory to God”.
You have been very much around, so one is wondering, what is the staying power and what are your plans for future?
As I said, it is grace. Honestly speaking, if I look at where I am coming from, the kind of friends we have kept and one is still standing today, the only thing I can attribute it to is the grace of God. You see, we human beings are sometimes, so funny. We plan and plan and plan, forgetting that there is a master planner somewhere. The master planner and executioner is God. You see, it is good to plan, you can’t just leave your life to chance, you have to plan. But no matter how smart or how good you are, you still need grace in terms of achievement. One must always remember for every planner, there is a master planner somewhere. For every executioner, there is a better executioner but these better planner and better executioner are not getting result. Why you are getting result. It is not because you are great, but because whatever it is you are doing, there is grace in it.
You have a strong Political presence in Lagos and South west, what is going to happen to your political career?
I have said, but let me say it in clear terms. Before, I wasn’t observing a 5-time daily prayer, but now I do religiously. I observe my 5- times daily prayer, without hindrance in any form or shape. The closer you are to God, the more you realise that nothing untowards would not happen to you, that one is given. So, I still believe strongly that God is solidly with me.
What has been happening to you in the last 2 years?
You see, many things have been happening, but the most important thing I will say here is, I am 57 and I want to say that if at 57, you`ve made so many mistakes, what makes sense is for you to have a sober reflection and rearrange your life. I believe it is high time for Nigeria to have a a sober reflection and restructure this country. If we continue on the path that we are now, we are not going to get anywhere. In the 50’s when the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo was running the West, Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe was running the Eastern region and Admadu Bello was running the Northern region, I say that was probably the best we have had in terms of development in our history. This shouldn’t be so. Our best shouldn’t be behind us. Our best should be ahead of us. So, I want to believe that the most important thing for us to do now is to change the structure of Nigeria for the good of all of us. We are nations that always wait for thing to get bad before we react to them. We shouldn’t allow things to get bad and become a mob action and no thinking is taking place anymore. Let us correct things before they get out of hand.
Do you feel victimised just as many persons who had worked with the past administration?
Well, let me be honest with you, to some extent I will say yes. At the appropriate time, we will talk, but not now.
