Celebrity women are party’s delight any time. When you see them at parties, you can be sure that the party will be lightened up with pomp. One of such parties was when popular Lagos society woman and businesswoman, Ola Aladesuru, celebrated her 60th birthday party in Lagos.
The celebrant who runs Genesis Complex Enterprises is the pretty wife of a Lagos businessman, Bolaji Aladesuru who runs the popular Balcom Royal Suite in Amuwo Odofin. Joined with their children, they gave the celebrator a special birthday treat. The party had in attendance prominent celebrities from all walks of life. The party was 70 per cent full of women, why? Because the host has many friends who cut across a wide spectrum of groups. Many celebrity women stormed the party in their multi-coloured Ankara matched with a white headgear. Almost all the women wore the Aso Ebi because the party was more or less a show of class. Celebrity women are usually life and soul of any party because, with women, you can be sure of having unlimited fun. These set of women are big-time fabric merchants, jewellery sellers, some are into haulage business, some are upward and mobile career women in top places while others are behind some money-spinning companies. They cherish to look good and this was what happened at the party, most of them stepped out in their best attire, one significant thing about all of them apart from wearing the same outfit is that their neck did all the talking with their expensive jewellery. First is the host, Ola Aladesuru, who looked dazzling in her 2 lovely attire. She opted for a 3D Gold lace for her first look, while she settled for a burgundy lace for her reception party and she was the cynosure of all eyes at the party. One major attraction at the party was the presence of some of her friends whom have been close to her for over 3 decades. Hardly will you see them not attending one party together. They surely have their eyes there. At the party were this set of top celeb women who party together. They share a close friendship with the celebrator and have been together for many years, call them clique of friends and you will not be wrong. They are Lara Akinsanya, Ola Aladesuru, Ayo Balogun Nana Yakubu, Betty Elegba, Iyabode Ode, Betty Oteri, Bunmi Ayuba, Labisi Ojo and Alhaja Kudirat Olateju. All of them are big-time celebrity women who make parties tick. They go to parties in groups and lights up any social event. One thing they do among themselves is, each one of them has a clique of friends and they move en masse with their crowd whenever any one of them is having an event. That is why you will always see them together. They share a very strong bond.

She is also a big-time fabric merchant who also runs a catering company as well, she complemented her aso-ebi with a lovely white headgear and gold. Nana Yakubu is another money bags who love to live quietly but a sight of her at any party will tell you she’s is an expensive woman, The NPA top shot matched her aso-ebi with white fabric and paired all up with silver jewellery.
Queen of Juju Music, Ayo Balogun, is the foremost juju queen who is ageing gracefully at 61. She needed not to be anywhere else on this day because she is the celebrant’s close friend of 45 years. They practically grew up together. No wonder, Queen Ayo Balogun reeled out a glowing tribute about her friend and gave her a beautiful portrait. Iyabode Ode is another society woman who is well connected within the powerful society women. She is also a big-time businesswoman. Alhaja Kudi popularly called Alhaja Kudi jewellery is a socialite to the core. She is one of the biggest sellers of gold and diamond. She runs one of the biggest gold stores in Surulere. She was at the party with her retinue of friends. Betty Oteri runs a gift shop where she does major supplies of quality products. Betty Elegba too is a bigtime businesswoman. Aunty Labisi Ojo who is a bit older has taken all of them as sisters, she always loves to support all of them and you will always see her touch in any of their events. She is one of the bigshots in the society. Bunmi Badejo Ayuba is the fashionista whose (gele) you can not miss at any party. she now has a way of tieing her gele that will catch attention instantly. She is a veteran fashion designer who runs the popular tailor-made fashion outfit in Lagos. Mrs Iyabode Ode also wields enormous influence within the social circuit. She is always a sight to behold at parties.

The hall was beautifully decorated and the event handled by Ruby Events. One of the celebrant’s friends, Lara Akinsanya, the CEO of Affordable catering supplied all the delicious meal. Among the celebrity guests sighted were the Former Commissioner for Finance, Ondo State, Wale Akinterinwa and his wife, Remi who runs Remlol events were there. Sighted also was a Lagos celeb woman, Yinka Oluyemi, who owns Yinka Bodyline shop in Ikoyi with her husband, Kayode Oluyemi, Tunji Balogun, Alhaji Lati Balogun, Dr George, Alhaji Bolango, Ade Young, Femi Sobande, Taiwo Adeniregun and others Society women were in large numbers, the likes of Toyin Caxton, Fola Doregos, Mrs Aruna, Tessy Ojora, Fola Badmus, Mrs Adebola, Mrs Azeez, Mrs Adejumo, Mrs Adedun, Funmi, Dayo Gbajabiamila, Mosun Taiwo, Montai Okesanjo Elemosho, Abbey Orange Juice and Co.
