The movie industry has witnessed growth over the years. It has produced fantastic and multi-talented stars back to back and they are so good in their crafts that lots of us can not forget them in a hurry. Their role interpretation skill is second to none and they are all household names.
In the 90s, we had superstars that graced our screens but they have been missing in action for years now. Most of these superstars relocated and nothing has been heard about them ever since. But lately, some of them are trying to get active again on social media through different programs they run online.

Regina Askia is one of the most beautiful faces to have graced the Nigerian movie industry. Many can never forget this ex-beauty queen’s roles in movies such as “Full Moon” President’s Daughter, Dangerous Babe and a host of others.
She relocated to U.S after her wedding and practiced as a Nurse in the U.S. She is presently one of most active veterans on Instagram with her programme on Instagram “Office of the Citizen”, where she interviews very important personalities in the society where they talk about very educative and interesting topics affecting the society at large.
Hilda Dokubo, is the crying queen of the movie industry. She often takes up emotional roles in movies. She joined the movie industry professionally in 1991 but later left to coordinate a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in River State, which is aimed at helping the youths of the state. She was also appointed to serve in the cabinet of former Governor, Peter Odili in River State.
She currently resides in Port Harcourt with her 2 sons. She is presently an activist and motivational speaker and very active on Instagram, where she airs her views on the state of the nation more especially the ones that concern the creative industry.
Victoria Inyama, the beautiful Victoria is popular for her acting prowess and exceptional acting skills. She relocated to the U.K. after her wedding and the marriage was blessed with 3 kids before the marriage packed up. The pretty mother of three was a victim of domestic violence and she went back to school to study further and she is currently a domestic violence advocate and she is taking her time to educate women on domestic violence, and abuse and also dedicating lots of her time to her three adorable kids.
Shan George, a prolific writer, producer became popular via hit movies such as Made In Heaven, Outcast, General’s Wife amongst others.
She is the Chairman Callywood Board (movie body in Cross River State appointed by Ben Ayade. Recently she made announcement on giving marriage another trial.
Susan Patrick, the beautiful gapped tooth superstar, came into the movie industry with her extraordinary performance in the movie titled “Snake Girl”. She is one of the finest actresses that rocked the scene in the 90s but presently not active in the industry ever since she got married. She has maintained a low profile and is focused on her family.
Ndidi Obi, the beautiful multi-talented actress in the movie titled “Nneka The Pretty Serpent” was one of the most talked about movie in Nollywood. The pretty actress announced her return to the industry in 2012 during AMA Awards, but is yet to make a huge come back as expected. Though, she recently featured in Ramsey Noah’s Living In Bondage (Breaking Free).
Many can not forget Lillian Bach’s outstanding role in movies such as “Ogidan”, Married To A Witch” and host of others. Beside acting, she has featured in lots of television commercials and at a point was the face of Delta Soap.
She is presently into interior decor and a fashion designing.
Rita Nzelu is a renowned superstar, model and television personality. She made her debut in the movie “Living In Bondage”. She got married and relocated to the U.K. to concentrate on building her family, ever since it went viral that her marriage fell apart. The beautiful actress as usual has maintained a very private life devoid of drama.
Jumai Joseph is one beautiful actress that really rocked both the English and Yoruba movie scene back to back. She relocated to Abuja from Lagos after marriage and has since remained in Abuja where she is concentrating more on business than the make-believe industry.
Ameze Imarhiagbe is a very pretty actress, lots of people won’t forget her for her role in the movie Flesh & Blood. This multi-talented superstar relocated abroad well over a decade now and she revealed recently that she is staging a comeback to the industry. She has been concentrating more on her pastorial job than acting, though once in a while, she still takes up some little movie roles.
Dolly Unachukwu is another fantastic veteran who graced our screens in the 90s and she shares a very cordial relationship with Regina Askia. She equally relocated abroad, where she is living with her family but lately she is gradually coming back into the movie industry.
Sandra Achums is one of the most celebrated screen divas in the 90’s. Her role in the movie “Deadly Affair”, shot her to the limelight. However, in the early 2000s, she took a break from acting and decided to face her family, she relocated to Germany and has since been concentrating on her family and doing business as well.
Eucharia Anunobi the multiple award-winning actress turned Pastor is one of the most respected and admired screen divas that graced our screens in the ’90s. Though now a Pastor she still makes out time to feature in movies once in a while, and she is also one veteran who always derives joy in supporting her younger colleagues in the industry. So despite not being on the screen all-time acting, she is always active online preaching and gracing events.
Obot Etuk, the ever radiant movie goddess will always be remembered for her role in “Battle of Musanga”. She has featured in lots of movies. At a point, she took a break from the movie industry to try her hands on politics then also business in Lagos and Akwa Ibom, where she is from. The pretty actress is now an ordained minister in Manchester, U.K.
Tina Amuziam, pretty mother of two is popular for acting motherly roles in movies but many will always remember her for her role in “Glamour Girls”. She is now a politician. She is Chairman Delta State Tourism Board (DSTB) and has loads of projects on ground to work on for the year 2020 for the people of Delta State.
Tricia Eseigbe Kerry, the beautiful and multi-talented actress was among those fantastic actresses of the 90’s before she went fully into talk show with “Bold Faces”, where she interviewed important personalities in the society. Afterwards, she concentrated on celebrating football superstars and even organises awards to celebrate them.
After 12 years of marriage, the beautiful actress just welcomed a baby girl few months ago with her husband.
Alexandra Lopex commonly known as Alex Lopez is a Brazilian Nigerian actress and former model who is best known for her role as a Lesbian in Zeb Ejiro’s 1996 controversial movie Domitila.
She was once a judge on Chacha Eke’s dare to dream acting competition.
Uche Obi Osotule is very popular for her role in movies such as Onome, Thunderbolt Saving Alero amongst others.
She took a break intentionally from the acting scene after her role in Thunderbolt, but this beautiful screen diva who got busy doing some other things recently featured in Mnet Tinsel. Maybe this will probably relaunch her back into the movie industry.
Edith Jane Azuh is a multi-talented actress Edith is one superstar people would always remember for her roles in movies like Tears In Heaven Part 1&2. She got married to actor Emma Ayalogu and she started acting in the ’80s. She left Nollywood to work in God’s vineyard and today she is a Pastor.
