For many of them, their aso-ebis came in 3 or more. They never went to event without their friends, while they were also the toast of many musicians.
The likes of King Sunny Ade, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, Chief Ebenezer Obey, Juju Maestro Queen Ayo Balogun, Queen Salawa Abeni have waxed many albums for them and became.
Some of the young society ladies have also introduced how to dance when they get on stage. Of course, these musicians know how to sing-praise to make them dance and spray crispy naira note. You will hear songs like: “Asabi o to ro aso lowo won, sasa ngele, Ishola o toro ewu wo lowo won o – sasa ngele (“we didn’t beg them for clothes to wear”). You will see them catwalk, wiggling their waists to the beats of music.
