In an exclusive interview with the spokesperson of the Nigeria Self Help Group Initiative, Adetutu Ashiru, the need for a revolution in self-determination became more imperative for all stakeholders of Nigeria’s economy to consider and amplify so as to reduce the teeming dependency on government for job creation.

What Is Nigeria Self Help Group all about?
NSHGI is an initiative of City People Media Group and Revolutionary Marketing Concept Limited to give hope, social support, education and empowerment to Nigerian citizens either private or Corporate.
What is the Role of Nigeria Self Help Group?
The role of NSHGI is to give hope, social support, education and empowerment to all private and corporate citizens.
What do you have for the people presently?
Presently, the NSHGI is planning to run a program called ‘Be Trained, Be Empowered, and Be Engaged’.
For unemployed graduates, CVs will be collected and collated, they will be trained extensively and be prepared for employment via the RMCL Resource scheme. For the self-employed or small scale business owners, they will be taught on how to manage the business, market their product and services and man-oeuvre during the downtime of their business to attain profitability. For corporate organisations, We bring to their doorstep a quality and affordable training. Imagine a training that supposes to cost a hundred thousand has been duly negotiated and bargained to a token with still the same quality.
Is Nigeria Self Help Group Initiative a training Company?
NSHGI is not a training company but we believe that every Nigerian is entitled to a quality and affordable training.
What does NSHGI stand to gain?
Well,10% of every training fee is going back to the society because we run free vocational training for vulnerable youth in order to give them a new hope and social supports.
What is the training all about?
The training is for different categories of people, either you are in a small business, paid employment, product for trading or unemployed. For a small scale business owner, the training stands to teach them more about projection capital which is what we know as our conventional marketing. It will help you to know how to project your product and services and an opportunity to have a free access to our In-house consultant as your business guide. For people in paid employment, this training will increase your key performance indices (KPI) on that job and erase the fear of failure when leaving their paid employment and dabbling into a business. For the unemployed, we train you as guerrilla marketers and customer service officers in order to prepare you for a job opening and also to make you a freelancer (product for you to sell and earn your commission). Don’t forget RMCL is an outsourcing company too.
What will it cost to participate?
Originally, the training suppose to go for a hundred thousand and above but after due negotiation, we are bringing the training for just N5, 000 (five thousand naira only) which includes; feeding, training materials, certificate of participation and membership registration because every trainee becomes an automatic member of NSHGI.
What is the duration of the training?
The training is just for 2 days.
