Ibadan popular businessman Otunba Yomi Olaitan is set to host the crème de la crème of the Ibadan social establishment into yet another classy party. Come Sunday 23rd February, 2020, his lovely wife, Chief (Mrs.) Adedotun Bolanle Olaitan will clock 50 in style, and they are not ready to leave any stone unturned to celebrate it a bigger way.
Already, top celebrities in Ibadan are warming up for the party. YOMDEX, as Otunba Yomi Olaitan is popularly known, is an excellent host. He is an events consultant and that has always come to bear on his parties. His parties are always classy and colourful. The memory of his pre-inauguration party for the present governor of Oyo State Engr. Seyi Makinde, on 27 May, 2019, is still very fresh. It was one party that can’t be forgotten in a hurry. It was a strictly by invitation affairs inside his palatable mansion at Kolapo Ishola Estate, Akobo, Ibadan. All kinds of foods both local and continental dishes were made available, Champagnes, Hennessy and other assorted drinks flowed like water. The decoration, lighting, settings and everything were superb. The very few selected top celebs who graced the occasion as well as Engr. Seyi Makinde and his team enjoyed every bit of the moment and partied till the very late hour in the night.
His wife’s 50th birthday party, however, won’t be any different. It is going to hold inside his Akobo mansion as well and exclusively for selected guests. It is going to strictly by invitation party. The best party vendors have already been contracted; about four professional caterers will handle the food aspect while Dexterity, as usual, will do the decoration (he is the best in town). A prominent barb from Lagos will entertain guests. Trust YOMDEX, champagnes, Hennessy and other assorted drinks worth over a million naira had already been bought. It is going to be mother of all parties. There will be a Church service in morning, after which the guests will be hosted into an elaborate reception later in the evening.
YOMDEX and his wife have every reasons to celebrate. The Olaitans are respectable and successful couple in Ibadan. The husband is the Vice President of the prestigious Ibadan Recreation Club and runs an event management company called YOMDEX while Yeye Olaitan is a seasoned broadcaster. They have produced two graduates and their other children are almost done with their university education.
At 50, Yeye Olaitan has done well for herself. She is a fulfilled woman. She retired from the service of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) some years ago and now runs her private business, a fashion house called Best Choice Boutique.
Like her husband, Yeye Olaitan is also rich but yet humble and reserved. She is beautiful and stylish. The Olaitans abhor any form of noise around themselves. They love to keep their private lives private and keep few friends. But they are sociable and popular in Ibadan. Though for YOMDEX, no amount of money could quantify the love and affection he has for his wife but to appreciate her in his own little way and on a special occasion of her 50th birthday, he bought her a brand Toyota Venza car. Let’s also hint you that Yeye Olaitan just came back from abroad where she had went shopping ahead of the birthday party. She is looking fresh and beautiful and fully prepared for the D day.
