BRIEF HISTORY OF J-NISSI CHILDREN SCHOOL
J-Nissi children school was established on the 13th day of September, 1994. It was them situated in a rented site within the Ijaiye Ogba medium housing estate. By September 1998, the school moved to her own purpose built permanent site.
The vision for establishing the school was revealed to the school’s Director, Pastor (Mrs) Bukola Oladiyun by God to “Raise into God righteous generations of children with polished morals, sound integrity and unparalled wisdom based on the value scripture of Psalm 144 Vs 12.
Since inception, J-Nissi has striven to keep to the vision and mission statement of the founders. The standards of academics and good Christians conduct which forms the core mission for her establishment have not waned, instead it has kept improving. This is credited to the strict implementation of the curriculum which is sourced from the National, State and Montessori methods. Efforts are also on for the introduction of an international curriculum into the system.
The school has been graduating pupils into top class secondary schools both in Nigeria and abroad for the past few years.
The school has a deliberate policy of duly engaging staff of sound and high morals coupled with sound academics, this has ensured that the mission statement of the school is on course. Added to this is the constant seminars workshops and retreats the management consistently organizes for the staff of the school to ensure that standards are maintained.
The school has a vibrant co-curricular department in place as follows.
(1.) A well organized sports department where sporting activities are frequently organized for the Psycho-motor development of the children.
(2.) A welfare department where trips are organized to various interesting places and visits to homes of the less privileged.
