This is not the best of times for Port Harcourt’s top celebrity lady, Mrs. Ngozi Emenike is currently battling Pancreatic cancer after its diagnosis confirmed it. Her only daughter, Chloe Emenike and her last-born child, who lives in MISSOURI CITY, TEXAS, United States of America (USA) took to social media to tell her mother’s Pancreatic Cancer story “I have created this GoFundMe page to help raise funds for Ngozi Emenike’s Cancer treatment. Together, we can help her beat this cancer. My name is Chloe, Ngozi Emenike’s only daughter and youngest child. Let me share a brief story on how it all started.
Owing to COVID 19, my family and I were stuck in Nigeria for most time of the year. In September, I remember my mom expressing to us that she was feeling pains in her stomach. She decided to go and run some tests to figure out what it was, but the doctors told her that all she had was a stomach ulcer and everything else was fine. So, she started taking medication for an ulcer, but over time the pain weren’t getting any better if anything, they were only getting worse. The pain were causing her to not eat anything and anything she tried eating she would throw it up.
On November 16, 2020, I went up to her room that morning to check on her, like I did every morning and she was in the worst pains. She had ever been in such since the pains started. My dad wasn’t home, so I called him to let him know what was going on. He came back home in a hurry and she was taken to the hospital. When she got to the hospital, they ran tests and they told her that she had inflammation of the pancreas. She was hospitalized for 8-days and while she was there, she still wasn’t really able to eat anything, so this led to drastic weight loss.
During her stay in the hospital, all she was given were pain medication and antibiotics. They sent her home but the pains would still come and go. Nigerian hospitals and doctors aren’t the most equipped so my parents decided to go to the US to seek better medical care. They got to Houston on December 1st and as soon as they got there, my mom was taken to the hospital.
On December 8th, after several medical tests, my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This news came as a shock to us and my family and I are all still processing this information. She is currently still in the hospital and has started her chemo treatments.
My family and I are ready to fight this dreaded disease in every way possible. My mom is a God-fearing woman, who puts God first in everything she does. A loyal mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who takes care of her family with ease and dedication. I’m reaching out on my mom’s behalf and seeking your prayers for her healing and any monetary donation you may wish to give to help my family and I during this difficult time. …All funds will go directly towards defraying the medical costs and any future needs we may encounter. while my mom undergoes her treatment.
From the bottom of my heart, I humbly ask that you share this link with family and friends on your social media so that we can reach the many people who may want to help my mom.
Thank you for your support and God bless each and every one of you.” ACCOUNT NUMBER IN NIGERIA NGOZI EMENIKE ACCESS BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER 0694440779
