Trending news across various platforms suggested that Starboy will have a performance at the 2018 FIFA World Cup opening in Russia but that was not the case on Thursday.

The multi award winning music star has now given the real reason why he was absent in Moscow; saying he was never invited in the first place meaning the earlier reports on other platforms excluding Bounce News was false!
