Many Nigerians who have stranded in Turkey for the past 2 months due to the Lockdown are angry with officials of Nigerian embassy over the high charges to be paid before evacuation.
They feel they are just being ripped off by the embassy. Many of them complained about the exorbitant cost being charged for them to be evacuated.
The way d NIGERIAN govt is handling this corvid 19 issue is bad
Corvid tests are available here. All that’s needed is for the Embassy in Ankara to liaise with the testing centres here, ensure evacuees get tested at a fee & get their results 48 hrs before departure.
If possible the Embassy can ensure the results are also sent to them, that way they only carry those who are negative & we only get to pay for our tickets.
Turkey has been on Partial lockdown on week days & total lockdown on weekends for the past 3 months
Anyone with corvid 19 symptoms would have been known. So how can people who have been here be expected to still go through isolation and Quarantine for another 16 days in Nigeria
This is a big scam & it should be make known to the public. Why is the Ministry of Foreign affairs and Diaspora ministry doing this??? It’s wrong.
