Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, asked if he regrets responding to comments from Jose Mourinho about injuries: “Regret? Why every coach has to talk about his job and himself and his team and players, not the other. My answer is always the same. Every coach must focus on work. It is the best way.
Sky’s reporter pressed him on whether Jose Mourinho annoys him. Conte responded: “I think this is a stupid subject. It is funny to see your interest in this.”
“I think we are working 70% less this season. We are having trouble, tactical and physical aspects because we play every two or three days.
“It is impossible to work on physical and tactical aspects, to pay less attention in every detail. At the moment, after two defeats and a draw, I am happy for the commitment and efforts of the players but if you ask me about the last results, I am not happy.
“I don’t think any coach can be happy after these results.”
