Star actress Tonto Dikeh’s father, Chief Sunny Dikeh has eventually returned the bride price his son in-law, Olakunle Churchill paid to him to marry his alluring daughter.
It was reported that the estranged husband’s (Churchill) uncle, Bishop Dare met with Tonto Dikeh’s family in Port Harcourt on Tuesday 27th June 2017 where the bride price was returned according to the tradition of the Rumuehio-Okania family in Obiakpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
For those who don’t know, there has been serious fracas between Tonto Dikeh, Churchill and her mother-in-law. Not too long, the screen diva via an SMS lambasted Churchill’s mother: “I am so ashamed I even called you mom in the first place, thinking back and after talking to Bimbo Coker, it’s safe to say you are in on Kunle’s Fraud and dirty lifestyle. You a woman watched her follow woman pay her own bride price, flew your son, clothed him, gave him pocket money, helped him with every sweat in my body, you watched your son duped me for all my hard earned money. If you are no use to it why feel so comfortable???”
“You know how poor your son was before I met him, you all deceived me into this marriage, promising a better future but lil did I know you and your family wanted a ladder. Before your son met me he never travelled passed Ghana, I gave his first and now Una don turn visa distributor. You disappoint me, even Bimbo Coker paid for her wedding and bride price, this is a curse???”

However, the estranged husband (Churchill) had also before now revealed how their marriage crisis started: “The main thing that started this fight was between she and my mum and it was very dirty. I bought a house for my mum in Lekki and she came over from overseas so we can do a house warming party to launch it and just 24-hours before the house warming party, Tonto got angry over a very flimsy issue and she just started breaking stuffs and scattering the house and in the process while my mum was trying to calm her down, she pushed my mum down as well.”
“I had never seen that in my life, I had to prostrate for my mum to apologize and that was how the house warning party was cancelled because it was just 24-hours to the party and Tonto had destroyed the house, breaking and damaging things… I was shocked and…”
It is however clear that the nuptial ties between the top celebrity, Tonto Dikeh and her husband, Olakunle Churchill has now been broken
