+What His Siblings Said About Their Late Mum
Prince Jide Fadairo is a popular businessman who is married to Ooni of Ife’s sister, Princess Folashade. He lost his mum a few months back. She died at 84. And on Friday 13th September, 2019 in Abeokuta late Madam Grace Oladunni Otusemowo Fadairo, alias Iya Ijebu (nee Ayorinde) was buried. She was a Methodist in her life time.
Last week, he told City People what he will miss most about his late mum “My sweet mother was indeed a mother. She taught us how to Love one another and be compassionate.
I will miss amongst many things how my mother and I usually sit on a yard chair, inside her compound in the evenings just talking about things in General”.
“I will miss her daily phone calls in the middle of day.
I will certainly miss her prayers although I know she’s watching over us right now.
I will miss how she’ll call my wife Fola and ask her if she has cooked for me, this was an inside joke she plays with Fola.
My mother was a great woman of virtue, a gentle and beautiful soul”.
My dear ever gentle mother, Words simply cannot express what you mean to me. Certainly a mother is a mother but at the same time there are mothers and there are mothers.
You are an exemplary mother that personified beauty, elegance, discipline and above all the love of God.
Mummy, growing up, I watched you walked through the valley of danger and even death but God was leading you so no harm came your way.
You endured so much pains and agony just to make sure your children were ok and you achieved your goals.
You led a good and wonderful1ife, your partnership and parenting ability with my late father molded me to be who I am today, and for that I will be eternally grateful to you and God Almighty.
To say I will miss you would be an understatement. I shall miss those frequent phone calls that comes in the afternoons during work and sometimes I’ll pick and say mummy I’m in a meeting I’ll call you right back and you’ll say “I just wanted to hear your voice”. How I wish you could continue to call me now.
We used to sit outside at sun down on the bench just chatting generally and sometimes reminiscing about the past, those memories are priceless and will be cherished.
My siblings and myself are so grateful for having a mother like you, we know you and Lloyd are now in a good place smiling down and watching over us.
My greatest joy is that you lived a fulfilling life and until your last breath surround by your children, you were at peace with no pain so I can confidently say your soul is resting peacefully in the Lord. I miss you Mum.

accommodating, patient, polite, simple but firm, disciplined, pleasant, straightforward, very jovial, honest, optimistic, considerate, fair, very friendly. You brought us up in the way ofthe Lord, you will always say: Don’t you have faith: A good listener, a prayer warrior, who loves to pray and always want people praying around her, that is why she had many pastors as friends.
A very hardworking person, she loved education, and she ensured that all her children are all educated. She worked with engineers; she wanted me to be an Engineer. Thank God you have among your children and grandchildren Engineers. A lover of songs and music, she sings a lot especially hymnal.
Very stylish, she loved to dress nicely and cooks good food. She will look for ways to solve your problems or challenges. Always encouraging you when you are down, she loved everyone around her to be happy. We all benefitted a lot from you. I will miss you so much mum. Apart from God, you have been a great helper and a pillar. It is only God that can reward you for all you have done for us. It is with gratitude to God for the life well spent for my Mother-in-law, Mrs. Grace Oladunni Otusemowo Fadairo who left this sinful world to eternity on Good Friday 19th of April, 2019. A great mother, humanitarian, a lover of God and a family women per excellence. Mama’s love for all and sundry is legendary.
I am eternally grateful for being a pillar of support to me and my family during our turbulent times.
As you departed this world to be with the Lord, to say that we miss you is an understatement but I pray that God Almighty will keep and watch over everything you left behind. ADIEU

Iya Ijebu dearest mummy you were the truest, dearest gentle and more than a mother to me, a shining example of unconditional love and acceptance, Dear mother you were a complete gentle woman with a heart of gold so easy going, prayerful and down to earth. Hmmn Mummy I missed your every day call I missed cooking your turkey soup. Mummy you were so passionate about your children to the extent you get so worried if you have not heard from your son Babajide and also asked often times have you cooked for Jide ….

lived your life to help others & sacrificed a lot to ensure that you helped people around you.
You showed everyone how to live. You stayed active all your days, dedicated & committed to God with heart & mind, she will wake up early in the morning for her quite time to commune with her creator, singing melodious hymns to her Maker.
I always known my mum as the most loving, caring, focused, hardworking, disciplined, organized, prudent, respectable, respected, meticulous, diligent, open, supportive & helpful mother ever. TRIBUTE TO THE BEST MOTHER-IN-LAW
First of all. I give thanks to Almighty who by his grace set the time for birth and the time for death.
Death is inevitable to all mortal beings, yet it’s painful when a good mother dies.
Mummy, I remember the times spent with you sharing your life experience and challenges .In spite of all these you pulled through. You were encouraging, an epitome of love, supportive and always there for anyone and everyone you loved singing hymns and never joked with morning devotion to the last few hours of your demise.
In our sadness, we are grateful that you are in a better place now. The entire family will surely miss you. you left an indelible mark.
Today, as you are being laid to rest, we give thanks to God for a life well spent. May God keep all that you left behind.
