The Nigerian real estate sector has become one of the big sub-sectors of the economy where billionaires are made, especially in recent years. A lot of people have made good money and they are now doing well in the business. This week, City People presents 50 new real estate players to watch out for in 2022. These people are not entirely new but they aren’t the newsmakers we used to know. This list comprises the names of players who are relatively new in the sector and also names of players who have been there but hardly talked about.
The first name on our list is Mrs Alaba Alozie who is the MD of LASGIDI Realtors now LASGIDI Properties. She started her real estate business over 5 years ago as a realtor. Just of recent, she registered her new trade name. She’s now a developer and she wants to use year 2022 to further push her brand and what she does to many more people. Mrs Alaba has been using her medium to empower women who want to make a career out of real estate. The elegant lady found herself in the sector after she was unable to get a suitable apartment when she relocated to Ajah a few years back. Today, she is a big name in the sector as she has marketed for many real estate companies and she’s now a developer.
Chief Adefowope Kayode Orioye is also another name to look out for. Although he’s been in the sector for years, not fully as a developer. Chief Adefowope is in Nigerian Legion and a well-respected Lagos property land merchant, who has sold many landed properties for many developers in the Lekki axis. He just registered a real estate company that can compete with the giants in the sector, Adefowope Properties Development & Dredging Limited. This year 2022, he wants to do much more and he’s also promised to compete with the industry’s best.
Julius Oyedemi is a young and energetic man, who is the MD of PWAN Plus and the MD of PWAN Homes. He’s called double MD by those who are close to him. He was appointed the MD of PWAN Homes about a year ago. Before his appointment, he was MD, PWAN Plus, a subsidiary of PWAN Homes. He was appointed MD of PWAN Homes because of his performance and the brilliance he displayed running his company. He’s one man to look forward to this year to take one of the PAN African real estate companies to the highest level.
What about Dr Kunle Adeyemi, MD, Sterling Home? Though Sterling Homes has been in existence for years, the company has just recorded a remarkable recognition as one of the top real estate firms doing fantastic projects in and out of Lagos. The MD of the company, Dr Kunle is one of the executives of REDAN Lagos Branch. He’s one man who has determined to use year 2022 to turn things around for his company, Sterling Homes.
What about Mr Adeniyi Adeyemi, MD, Tromville Investment? He’s a visionary who has promised to make 2022 a fulfilling year for his company. In the beginning of the year, he invited a popular gospel singer, Tope Alabi to his office and not only that, he’s been doing many things with celebrities to further boost the image of the company. He’s also a Pastor but doesn’t joke with his real estate business. He’s one man to watch out for in 2022.
Let’s also tell you about Mr Tobi Ifada, who is the MD, Aniera Homes. It’s not a year-old firm but they have started making names in the real estate business. Aniera Homes has provided affordable houses to many people in the last few years. The visionary leader, Mr Tobi, has ensured the company plays a key role where other real estate firms fail. The name Aniera is beginning to gain recognition because of their unblemished records in the last few years. They are one company to watch out for in 2022.
We also need to tell you about Mr Adeniyi Adams who is the MD of Knightstones Properties in the Awoyaya area of Lagos. He’s one of the players to look forward to. Presently, he’s in the USA studying but he’s promised to be back home soon with fresh knowledge and skills to turn things around.
Awaogu Stanley is another name that needs to be talked about. He’s the Managing Director, Grace Bounty Properties. This is relatively a new company but has found its feet in the sector. The MD has promised to make 2022 a year of a turnaround for the company.
Oluwatosin Olatujoye may not be that popular but the company, Zylus Properties is. Mr Olatujoye is the Group Managing Director of Zylus Group. The company is one of the few real estate companies in Lagos with massive sales last year and it has started this year on a high note.
Oluwatobi Osonuga also falls into this category. He’s the MD, Chateau Royal Properties. He’s been able to sell his brand across borders within the last few years. Adetoro Bank-Omotoye is another name who has distinguished himself in the built sector. He is the MD of Cruxstone Development & Investment Ltd. Presently, the company is working towards another massive project that will change the face of real estate in Victoria Island. The project name is Cruxstone Towers.
Engr. (Dr.) Becky Olubukola Esther is the President and Group Managing Director of BSTAN GROUP. In this role, Dr. Becky oversees Bstan Construction Limited, Bstan Mortgage and Cooperatives, Bstan Securities, Bstan Agro, Bstan Cleaning Services and Bstan Homes and Properties, which combined have employed approximately 300 staff with offices in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Ekiti, Ghana and Dubai.
Kennedy Nnadi is the MD/CEO of The Pennek Nigeria Limited, one of the best run real estate companies in the Lekki/Ajah axis. This year, the company launched several housing estates in the Lekki/Ajah areas. The brand ambassador of the company, popular Hip Hop star, Davido, has done a lot in terms of brand and products awareness for the company.
Stanley Obi is the MD/CEO of Salescraft Properties. He won City People Real Estate Youngest Player of the Year award at the 4th City People Real Estate Awards. Currently, he has extended his arm of the company to the Eastern part of the country and Salescraft has a presence in many parts of Lagos.
Chief Samuel Odinamadu is also playing big. He’s the Chief Executive Officer of SKC Properties Ltd. He’s one of the leading property developers in Lagos. He’s currently building housing units at Orchid Hotel road opposite Eleganza bus stop, Ikota, Lekki, Lagos. He is one of the property players who have done well so far this year.
We cannot also forget Chief Murphy Osuala, the Managing Director of Empire Homes, the popular Property Development company in Lagos. He’s currently doing massive projects behind Chevron head office in Lekki, Lagos. He also has another housing estate at Orchid Hotel road, opposite Eleganza house, Lekki. Chief Murphy has been in the real estate business for decades and he is still waxing stronger by the day.
Another person who has done well is Mr. Bashir Jimoh, Managing Director of Bashmoh Homes. Bashmoh Homes has land that’s currently selling in and out of Lagos. Recently, they acquired massive Properties in Magboro and Ibadan. This property firm is one of the leading property companies when it comes to sales of land, as it has built plenty of trust in the minds of people. Segun Olusanya is the MD of Schemelink Properties Ltd. He is also doing well in the area of land acquisition and sales.
Engr. Lekan Aderinwale is also doing well. He is the MD of Structmatics Engineering, a reputable housing construction firm. Engr. Lekan is a young structural engineer who has carved a big niche for himself as one of the best brains in the sector. Currently, he builds houses in Lekki axis. He has become the toast of real estate investors.
Chief Emeka Uzoeto is the CEO/MD of 1st Homes Limited; a reputable construction company. Chief Emeka is undoubtedly one of the top property players in Lekki presently. He has built over 50 housing units this year alone. He has ongoing housing projects in Osapa London, Victory Park, Agungi, Chevron area, all in Lekki. He has become a strong developer in that axis.
Another name in the industry that has been doing well over time is the Chairman of DPKay Homes & Properties, Prince Dele Akinola. He has a lot of housing developed in Lekki axis, and he also has landed properties around Lagos currently selling at affordable prices. We can’t also forget Aare Adeleke Adebesin, Chairman of Kings International Homes & Properties. He is one of the big boys in the property sector. What about the MD of Yankees Construction & Co., Mr David Ezeodo? He is a top property developer in Osapa London, to be precise.
Mrs Elizabeth Grace of Godmade Homes is another top player in that sector. What about the owner of Luxury Gardens in Osapa, Dr Mrs Rita Onyejesi? She is one woman who has distinguished herself in that sector. Dennis Oberabor is another player doing well. He’s the MD of PWAN Premium. Jeffrey Agbim is also doing well in the area of construction. He is the CEO of Jedmoon Properties.
Tolu Bawa-Allah is the MD of Printex Properties, a reputable company in Lagos that specializes in housing development. Taiwo Elegbede, MD, Buckhead Construction is another young guy doing well in the Lekkk/Ajah axis. He is one man to watch out for in 2022. Also doing well are Oladipupo Clement,
Mrs Funke Adesoji is one of the big female players in the real estate sector. She’s the founder of Remax Realtors, a company she founded a few years back after she had discovered her purpose in the real estate sector. Last year, she was honoured at the 6th City People Real Estate Award for her remarkable role in the sector.
Another name is Grace Ofure, founder, Lifecard Limited. She’s one of the few women who have succeeded to use her platform to empower women to become successful real estate players. She’s one woman to look out for in 2022.
Millicent Duru is another player who has been doing well and she has a lot of potentials to expand in 2022. She’s the founder of Giselle Homes.
