The Ansar-Ud-Deen College Isolo Old Student Association, ADCIOSA, 1983/88 set on Sunday, October 30, 2022, had a Reunion party and Presentation of notebooks to the junior classes. The event which had many flown from abroad to attend the very first reunion in 32years was held in Isolo, Lagos, at the school’s hall.
The hall was decorated by Mubolscramiers. Tosslam Catering Services, who is one of them, provided the meal while Grillsn’moore took charge of the barbecue. Dj Naty was giving the guests old-school music while Mc Chief Olododo was to the mic.
It came to light at 2:17 pm with ex-officio 1, Engr. Hakeem Awe welcomed Dr. Chijioke Okeke, the guest speaker of the event, and Mr. Akinsola, who is representing the old excos. He asked the members to introduce themselves one after the other but said that the order will be from the Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Awotabe Ako, who thanked his former classmates for honouring the reunion and dare them to repeat this same time next year. Most of the ladies were on white Lace with green Gele, while the men suited in white senator and Agbada with green caps.
The Chairman called six students, three male, and three female, and presented 500 copies of notebooks, courtesy of the 83/88 ADCIOSA set. “We are full of gratitude and may the good Allah bless you and your members every day,” said one of the teachers, who accompanied the student. This was in addition to the recently renovated School Quadrangle, which was done on October 23, 2022, one week before the event. Soon after, the Mc made the guests choose question number 1-10 and oblige them to answer or pay a fine. This is followed by group pictures, and also the students and their teacher. The event came to a close with the Mc asking the guest and their invited friends that its dancing time with the DJ hitting it loud with a native Yoruba song, which followed up immediately with Nigerian hip-hop.
