This is the story of Sunny George Akinfe. aka (Georgy Irawo) who is currently making waves in the UK. He is an actor and a singer.
A few days ago,Citypeople spoke to him about his impressive career.
” I was born in the 70’s. I am from Ondo town, in Ondo state.
I am an actor and also a musician with about 6 albums and over 30 singles to my name.”
I have featured on ITV Program in the UK titled the ADESHINA’s also did a lot of soundtracks for movies. I am currently the Director of SCBA STUDIO Both recording and Visual Studio.”
“I relocated to the United Kingdom in the 90’s. I attended Southgate College , where I studied computing and Video Editing and abit of Cinematography.”
“I also attended the College of North East London to study Access to Nursing, Then,i proceeded to London Southbank University where I graduated as Mental Health Practitioner in 2012.”
“I currently own one of the most classic Barbershop called SUNNYCUTZ BARBERS ACADEMY in Essex UK.”
“I take passion in acting alot.From my young age, I was with THE ARIYOS GROUP ON ONDO, popularly known as the IKUSANGBA, in the 80’s and early 90’s before moving to the UK.”
The challenges we face in UK acting is very funny,as it seems people are too comfortable.So it seems that the drive is not there, or should I use the word the hunger is not there, like when you are in Nigeria.”
