WHAT IS THE SPIRIT OF DETAINED, DENIED, DELAYED AND DEFLECTED BLESSINGS?
(a) It means tiredness to achieve a goal.
(b)Unnecessary procrastination. What you need to do now you keep on postponing it.
(c) It means obstacles.
(d) It means inability to accomplish something good in life.
(e) It could also mean your current location and environment is slowing you down in achieving your aim in life.
(f) It is a force that is preventing you from moving forward.
(g) It also means your family, friends, and relations are a stumbling block to your breakthrough.
(h) This can be regarded as evil Yoke
(i) It could mean your spouse’s attitude and behavior is stopping you from realizing your potentials, especially if you are not married in the Lord.
(j) It is anything or anybody that stops you from realizing your blessings.
(k) It also means your attitude, actions and behavior are stopping you from moving forward.
(l) It means a lack of determination to succeed.
(m) It means a lack of commitment to realize your dreams
(n) It means laziness in everything.
(o) It means ‘unwillingness’ to work to achieve something.
(p) It means lack of discipline. You will never be the person you can be if pressure, tension, and discipline are taken out of your life.
(q) Lack of enthusiasm.
(1) DETAINED BLESSINGS
•Detained blessings are the blessings captured by spiritual robbers and detained. May your blessing not be detained and released when it is too late in Jesus name.
•Spirit of detained blessing hinders one from entering his or her destiny at the set time, despite much efforts and labour.
•Those who suffer from this spirit spend a much longer time to get what others get easily and quickly.
•They work so hard before they can get anything, by the time they eventually get it, all the joy of such achievement would have gone. Prov. 13 v 12 – “Hope deferred makes the heart sick.”
•Victims pay unusual price in getting anything done, and they are always last on the queue or line of blessing.
•They are always behind in breakthrough. Last to get admission, to pass exams, to marry or have children.
•Their blessings don’t come early, or don’t come at all.
•Jacobs blessings were detained by Laban in Gen. 31, until God intervened.
•God has blessed us with spiritual blessings.
•Once you are covenanted to Jesus, you fall into the category of the people mentioned here.
•For some reasons, blessings released don’t get to their owners.
•They are either •Detained •Deflected •Delayed •Denied •Diverted •Postponed •Captured •Nailed due to the operators of certain forces.
•Today, God’s power will settle your blessings in Jesus name.
(2) DELAYED BLESSINGS
•Spirit of delayed blessings hinders one from entering his destiny at the appropriate or set time despite much efforts and labor.
•Those who suffer from this spirit spend a much longer time to get what others get easily and quickly.
•They work so hard before they can get anything. By the time they eventually get it, all the joy of such achievement would have gone. The Bible says, “hope deferred makes the heart sick” When you see men and women afflicted by this spirit, all the people who are younger than them get things easily and quickly, but when they make their own attempt, things become very hard.
•They pay an unusual price in getting anything done, and they are always last on the line of blessing. The last to get admission to college, the last to pass examination, the last to get married, the last to have children.
•They are also always behind in breakthrough. Their middle names could easily be called brother or sister ‘last’ or ‘behind’.
•They are people whose blessings don’t usually come early. The story of Jacob gave a clear picture of what the spirit of delayed blessings can do to a man’s life. Despite the blessings of Jehovah upon his life, he suffered untold hardship in the hand of Laban. As you pray today, the Lord will break the yoke of this spirit in your life, and you shall enter into your destiny in Jesus name.
•Looking further into the spirit of delayed and detained blessings, overcoming the spirit of delayed and detained blessing should be taken very seriously because there are people who are born as directors or Chairmen of multinational companies but are now security guards, due to this spirit. There are people who are supposed to be a General Overseers but are now Local church leaders.
•Some people are destined to be Professors, but are now School teachers because the spirit of delayed and detained blessing is operating in their lives.
•There are people who are supposed to be Billionaires or Multi – Millionaires, but are begging for food to eat. Most people have been buried with their God – given talents in the Cemetery. Many people are in the graveyard who have died with their dreams and visions unfulfilled, because of the spirit of delayed and detained blessings.
•There are even some people who are destined to transform a nation to greater heights but are now in the graveyard, buried with their dreams unfulfilled.
(3) DIVERTED BLESSINGS OR TRANSFERRED BLESSINGS
A hard working professor, had capacity for tremendous work. In the University community, the ability to become a professor in good time depends on the number of ‘Theses’ you wrote.
He desired to become a professor. So, he was always busy reading and sending his ‘Theses’ to the University assessors
•All of a sudden, he felt sick, had nasal passage cancer and died.
•Two months after his death, his ‘Theses’ were released, and he was promoted a professor POSTHUMOUSLY.
•The fellow’s blessings were detained and released after his death.
•He wasn’t a Christian, so he became an easy prey in the hand of the enemy.
HOW TO DISCERN THAT A BLESSING IS DETAINED
(1) There are prophesies to confirm the blessings, but some powers are holding or preventing them from being delivered.
(2) Having prayed and fasted on the expected blessings, you are convinced that it is done, then change your approach from interceding mode to praising mode. Invoke the angels to work on your behalf.
(3) You often dream that you are walking in the blessings, but things are contrary on the physical.
(4) When people you don’t know are talking to you about the blessings repeatedly. Confirmation coming from left, right and centre, the enemy is detaining the blessings. Pray more like Daniel.
(5) When you see others enjoying the same kind of blessing you are expecting from the Lord, and your heart tells you, it is your season and that God has released it, please, pray, praise and sow seed towards it.
WHY MUST YOU REMOVE THE SPIRIT OF DELAYED, DETAINED, DENIED AND DEFLECTED BLESSINGS FROM YOUR LIFE
(a) You can never rise to a greater height, if you are afflicted with the spirit of delayed and detained blessings
(b) It slows down your productivity.
(c) It leads to frustrations and regret.
(d) It brings shame and sorrow.
(e) It is a destiny destroyer and killer. Your Destiny Helper can never appear to you.
(f) Keeps one on the same spot
(g) No progress, you are employed as a driver and retired as a driver.
(h) It brings limitations and stagnation
(i) It brings untimely death.
(j) You can never be effective if the spirit of delayed and detained blessings is in you.
