It was a day of fun and merriment a few days ago at the palatial Abuja office of the FunmiAyinke Nigeria Limited as the Managing Director of the establishment, Engineer Mrs Funmilayo Ayinke Waheed-Adekojo was awarded Fellowship of the UK based Institute of Management Specialists.
Friends, associates as well as employees were all around to witness the occasion which had to be held in the Abuja office of the company because of prevailing situation in Abuja.
Speaker after speaker spoke on the diligence of the CEO of FunmiAyinke Nigeria Limited and how as a woman she has proved that gender does not in any way limit her abilities.
In their citation before the presentation, representatives of the UK based institute revealed that Engineer Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo’s doggedness, diligence to duty was what recommended her. They stated that she has been à n example to many in positions of management with the way she heads her various organisations.
In her acceptance speech, Engineer Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo appreciated the UK-based Institute. She also disclosed that she had pleaded with God that her life should be like a Bible for people around as well as generations to come to read so that they will be able to appreciate God’s work in her life.
