Former Commissioner For Transport, Lagos State, Kayode Opeifa, played host to friends and family on Thursday, October 17, 2019, as he paid last respected to his late mother, Mrs Olufunke Esther Opeifa, who slept in the lord on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the ripe age of 90.
The service of song was held at Winners Satellite Chapel in Oregun on Thursday, while the remains was interned at the Vaults and Garden, Ikoyi on Friday, October 18, 2019.
Madam Olufunke cortege was joined along the way by the most important people in her life. They walked behind her remains, and then, so did representatives from each of the families and communities
The deceased would definitely turn in her grave for the honour and unrivalled show of love that her beloved son gave him
