She is one of the actresses who gave a good interpretation of their roles in the current trending Netflix movie called Jagun Jagun. Weeks after the movie, which was produced by Femi Adebayo was premiered in Lagos, every one is still talking of how good Bimbo Ademoye was in that movie.
Bimbo is one of the hottest actresses on the scene right now. She is brilliant. She is talented. And she usually gives her all, to her acting. Femi Adebayo is also full of praise for her craft. In his impressions of her, Femi commended her for her brilliance.
She is one beautiful lady who has been able to combine her beauty with her brains. She is also a good movie producer who has produced some good movies. She is also a leading brand influencer who has a way of promoting different brands. So good is she that many brands get her to endorse and promote their brand and that brings her good income.
No wonder she is a very comfortable actress who can boast of a sustainable income. And she is always on location back-to-back. When City People tried to get her for an interview we had to be on her neck to create a little time. But she was full of apologies, explaining that she has been on set and she was still on set right now. The message came in at about 1a.m that day.
Once she was free, she told City People her story. How did she take her role in Jagun Jagun? How did she prepare for it, we asked her? She was frank to a fault in her answers. “I run a busy schedule. Due to my extremely busy schedule, I barely had the chance to prepare. But thank God, for the likes of Uncle Femi Adebayo and Daddy Adebayo Salami.”
“They walked me through the journey of becoming Morohunmubo. Itele the Icon who played the role of my husband. Ogundiji was a very huge source of help. I’m grateful to all these people because they made becoming Morohunmubo extremely seamless”.
Lately, she has featured in so many good quality movies and she has done well in them. Whats the secret? “We thank God for his mercies. I won’t take credit for any of that. I would say thank you God and a huge thank you to all the film makers who found me worthy of being in their films”.
What explains her phenomenal rise & rise in her movie career? “I will say the Grace of God. That is key. Then, I would say my dedication. And my hunger for more. I’m always hungry for success. I barely have the time to relish any moment.”
Once I have a successful film out there, I’m working and thinking of the next successful film, I have so much to give and by his Grace, until I give it all, I won’t stop.” We got her to tell us about her acting career. She acts. She produces movies. What else does she do? “I do so many things. I act. I produce. I have, as an Executive Producer, produced over 5 films. To the glory of God. And I’m currently working on a few more. I am also a social medial influencer and a brand ambassador to a few brands.”
At the end of the day, who is Bimbo Ademoye? “I am an actor. I am a film maker (but I am a baby in this aspect through). I am a social media influencer. And most importantly, I am Adekunle Ademoye’s daughter.
