She is one of the popular Fabric Merchants in Lagos. But, she doesn’t make noise about it. By nature, she is a quiet woman. She prefers doing her things quietly her own way. And she is getting results. She is doing so very well. She understands this business so well that a lot of celebrities (both Male and Female) rush to her for Fabrics. The name of her shop is Secat Textiles on Lagos Island. Why do many celebrities rush to her? We can tell you a lot. She sells exquisite fabrics. She stocks the very best.
It is the home of exotic Swiss fabrics for the women and men of Class. She has supplied fabrics for very many big parties and events. She does big party orders but she does not like talking about it. She does both Men and Women fabrics. She sells high quality Swiss voiles, Atiku and brocades for men too. She makes Aso-Oke too. She made the St Annes School 150 years Anniversary Aso-Oke. That is why I call her Mojisola Alaso-Oke.
That she understands the business, inside out, is because her late mum was also a Fabric Merchant. So, Mrs. Mojisola Temitayo Awotodunbo was born into the business. She has in fact been selling Fabrics since she was in school as a student during her NCE days at Ila Orangun and University days in UNILORIN where she studied Economics/Mathematics.
