Award winning actress, philanthropist and singer Tonto Dikeh is one of the most successful actresses in the entertainment industry. Her many talents only prove how bright and memorable her personality is. She was born on June 9th 1985 from Ikwere tribe, Portharcourt in River State. Her mother passed away when she was only 3 years old and the early loss of her mum made a severe Impact on her but still had a very close relationship with her step mother and often refers to her as the best mum in the world.
She is a graduate of Petrochemical Engineering from River State University of Science and Technology but her hear longed so much for acting and this made her took part in Next Movie Star reality show and she emerged first runner up. She helped the Makurdi flood victims financially and during the lockdown her foundation reached out to over 5000 people in the northern part of the country giving palliatives that can sustain them for months and this gesture won her several awards home and abroad. Her colleagues couldn’t help but sing her praise on social media for her immense contribution towards the needy during the lockdown.
Tonto might be tagged a controversial actress most especially because of her marriage to Olakunle Churchill in 2015 which lasted for barely 2 years but produced a son, king Andre and she often calls out her ex husband on social media despite this, she is a very hard-working actress who has touched many lives positively and she made lots of money in the last few months. Tonto is one of the most successful actresses in the industry whose endorsement deals runs into several millions. She signed 2 endorsement deals worth 150 million within 2 days. She also signed endorsement deal with Zikel cosmetics worth 100 million. She is currently the brand ambassador of Zikel Cosmetics, Numatville Tourism Megacity, Sapphirescents, National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in person (NAPTIP), Naturessence in U.S.
She doesn’t come cheap with deals and she also charge high to influence brand on her page with close to 7 million followers.
