These are sad times for the illustrious Fowora family in Ijebu-Ode. Why? It recently lost one of its own, a great man in his lifetime. The illustrious family members are preparing for the burial of one of the patriarchs of the family, His Excellency, Otunba Ambassador E. Olufemi Fowora. He was an accomplished man in his lifetime.
He was not only an Ijebu High Chief in his lifetime and one of Awujale of Ijebuland’s Otunba, Oba Sikiru Adetona loved him so much that he had a nick name for him. He fondly called him Afemo. He was the Otunba Setejoye of Ijebuland. He was born on 25th December, 1936 and passed on, 27th January, 2020. (Stay tuned for more)
