MOTIVATION FOR RUNNING
I sincerely love this country and its people. Nigerians are my people, my friends, my family; they make me who I am. I am awed by Nigeria’s talents and human resources, but ashamed and disappointed at its monumental waste, Like many other Nigerians we feel the pain of disappointment and the consequences of under achievement. I am witness to the development slide in Nigeria and how our ‘old school’ politics and leadership styles is leading us into perdition. Though we are of different ethnic groups and beliefs, I believe we are complimentary of each other as long as we have good leaders who understand and have the capacity to manage Nigeria’s diversity and mass.
The world is facing another era of Global Fragility the likes of which World wars are made of and tottering on the brinks of fragility and global conflict. Nigeria as it stands and which has, for years has been nursing an epidemic of grand corruption and organized crime, where government institutions are consciously structured to meet the interests of elites cannot withstand the oncoming wave of global fragility.
Unfortunately, Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa, geographically located at the centre of Africa and natural Eldorado of the so called “Black-man’’ is tending towards becoming a basket case in State Fragility. Only if Nigeria saves itself can it save Africa. The type of leadership we have and the politics we play cannot save us or lead us anywhere except to a future of slavery, poverty, violence and hunger, as we are beginning to witness in Nigeria today.
The Old School Leadership Style:
(1) Politics of Divide and Rule, as inherited from the colonialists,
(2) Politics of Patronage and God-Fatherism
(3) Politics of Exclusion where the poor, women and youth are main victims
(4) Politics of Impunity which is the father of Corruption in Nigeria
(5) Politics of Favouritism – filial, ethnic , religious, gender etc..
By nature, I am not a complainer. Whenever I am faced with a dire situation or a complex challenge (after the initial and reflexive outer reaction like anyone else), I reflect and ask: WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS? In answering this question viz-a-viz the Nigerian situation and after due consultations and prayers, it is with a deep sense of humility and determination that I offer to Nigeria, the leadership, love, direction and sacrifice that we all need to reverse the tide. My aspiration and hopefully, eventual candidacy and election to the office of the President will offer Nigerians the rightSkills, Knowledge, Experience and Attitude to providethe transformational leadership that this country is ready for. Ladies and gentlemen of the press, I offer a democratic revolution which is intended to UNLOCK GOOD GOVERNANCE – which in summary is about Capability, Accountability, Responsiveness and Inclusiveness.
WHY KOWA
KOWA was registered as a political party on July 16, 2009, by a group of Nigerian Civil Society activists, professionals and technocrats who wish to contribute to making Nigeria a country where there is economic justice, political sanity, peace, stability, human development and social progress; a country governed in the best interest of the majority who are at present, mostly poor, struggling people, as opposed to the current situation in which there is gross economic injustice. We are mostly political activists, professionals and politicians who did not find a level playing ground in the god-father-dominated political parties.
KOWA Party believes that a moral obligation is placed on ALL PUBLIC OFFICERS to commit to a personal lifestyle marked by simplicity, modesty, integrity and humility in the service of the Great Peoples of Nigeria. In Yoruba, KOWA means ‘let it come’; meaning let the good life come. In Igbo, KOWA means ‘explain’ which to us, means ‘openness’ and ‘transparency’. In Hausa, KOWA means ‘everyone’ which defines us as a party based on the principles of Social Inclusion and accommodation.
MY PRIORITIES
•Safety and Security
•Education and Health
•Environment
•Technology and Innovation
•Infrastructure and Economy
DRIVERS OF CHANGE
•I shall maintain a Zero Tolerance for Hunger and a Zero Tolerance for Illiteracy
•I shall pursue a national Interest defined as follows: To protect and preserve Nigerian lives, lands and livelihoods, as well as to support the welfare of Nigerian citizens globally, and that of our friends within.
Given the chance, I can assure you that premium will be placed on the value of Nigerian life. As Value for the Life is Value for Nation! This country is big enough and endowed enough to more than adequately take care of our needs and establish for posterity a free, just and prosperous society. I am an investor in People, and believe with inspiring leadership our nation can be truly great. My personal leadership style is of DIGNIFIED INCLUSION believing firmly that the Expectations of the Poor shall not perish forever.
Should i be elected president of Nigeria I will spend the First 100 day on a nationwide consultation tour and stakeholder assessment to help ensure a peaceful and development-oriented political settlement upon which Nigeria can restructure for good and preserve national unity and citizens commitment
As you reflect on these, let me restate that I offer Nigerians, my passion, my love, a Vision of incredible greatness, the capacity to deliver, accountable, and responsive governance. My promise to you is to serve you as a brother, a friend and a Citizens President, so help me God.

Nigeria is a country endowed with resources and potential, but its chequered history and present contradictions has caused us to fail to reach potential while complicating the attainment of a much needed and sustainable political settlement

stat the turn of independence the poverty level was 15%. 55 years after, it will be difficult to contest a claim that the poverty levels in Nigeria are in excess of 71% at a benchmark of $1.95 per day, Life expectancy is under 50 yrs, predicted will have the most poor people on earth by 2030 ; In 11 northern states(NE&NW) poverty rate is above 70%; up to 88% in Jigawa. High Gender exclusion with at least 70% female illiteracy rate and we account for 10% of global maternal mortality burden.
