The League Management Company (LMC) have charged Shooting Stars Sports Club manager, Rasheed Balogun, for breaching the Code of Conduct for Club Officials.
Balogun had a touchline confrontation with Plateau United’s manager Kennedy Boboye during a matchday 12 Nigeria Professional Football League match involving 3SC and Plateau United at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasigba a fortnight ago.
According to tweets from the official handle of the LMC, Plateau United’s Boboye himself has been banned for three games for failing to conduct himself in a professional manner during the fiesty encounter. He is also fined N100,000 by the LMC.
Balogun, Boboye and Ajiboye have 48 hours from the date of notification of the sanctions to accept LMC’s ruling or elect to appeal.
“Balogun failed to show good example by encroaching the technical area (a restricted area) during the NPFL Matchday 12 game between 3SC and Plateau Utd,” the LMC tweeted on Thursday.
