Is it possible to give your heart to a heavenly body? We think so because we are absolutely smitten with the moon after viewing it through this camera’s zoom lens. Well, actually Earth’s satellite was already our primary #spacebae, but this impressive, up close and personal look at the lunar surface makes us want to cradle it and hold it close to our hearts.

As the camera zooms, the moon goes from the blurry, glowing golden neighbor that our human eyes are used to observing without assistance, to the mighty, cratered astronomical body that pulls the ocean’s tides and affects our moods.

As if that doesn’t sound poetic enough, the soothing background music enhances this glorious footage and, oh yeah, we’re head over heels in love with the moon.

SIGHS. We can’t think of anything more romantic than these lunar views and if it wasn’t too late, we’d totally make the moon our valentine.
