Bimbola Rasaki is a popular Manchester based beautician. She is big and making waves in the UK. On Sunday, 23rd of October, 2022, she surprised her 70 year old mum, Mrs. Sijuade Funmilola Akinwumi, by handing over the keys of a new house she built for her in Lagos. It is meant to be a 70th birthday gift to her.
The house is an elegant edifice located inside Airport Estate, Off Isheri Opic bus stop, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The 4-Bedroom bungalow is painted in pure White. It, stands out among other buildings in the estate. It was a gift from a loving daughter to a caring mum on her 70th birthday.
The ceremony was a big and classy one. It pulled many celebrity women in town to the event. Most of them travelled all the way from the city of Manchester in England. They had much fun as a wave-making gospel singer, Laolu Gbenjo and his band boys thrilled them with good music.
Before the house-warming party took off, foods, drinks and every other thing needed for an unforgattable party were already in place. At a point, the celebrator was ushered into the venue of the event, unaware. Her triumphal arrival was quite impressive. Popular Akewi, Ola Oriki chanted lyrics to cheer her as she was approaching the gate of the building. When it dawned on her what the party was all about, she was overwhelmed.Tears of joy rolled down her cheeks as family, friends and well wishers were literally falling over one another to congratulate and celebrate her. They immediately proceeded to enter the house to behold the internal decor.
The official commissioning was done by the wife of the founder/general overseer, World Evangelism Bible Church (WEBIC). She cut the symbolic ribbons after which she admonished the audience on why parents should always pray for their children.
Bimbola Rasaki took her mum and the guests in to assess the elegant building after which the party started.
The party was a display of glamour. Guests looked radiant in their respective white outfits. Their appearances made the party unique. Anchoring the day’s event was a Nollywood actor and comedian, Babatunde Bernard Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee. His comical presentation was on spot as everyone enjoyed every bit of it.
The party was well planned and implemented by the popular and Lagos based events planner, Splendid Events Managers. Other vendors on duty at the party included DJ Sunnex, Today’s dishes,Atmod Catering Services, Helloasun, Kreative Fruits and Lafunshy Kitchen. They are all seasoned caterers in town. Mrs.Sijuade is a mother many children will love to have as a mum. She is a woman of virtues and lover of God.She is also very prayerful and never taken the well being of her children for granted.She never seized to pray for them at every opportunity.
Recall that early this year, precisely on the 26th of June, 2022, Madam Sijuade marked her 70th birthday in the presence of God. She invited family members, friends and associates to the World Evangelical Bible International Church (WEBIC) headquarters in Ojota where she worships as an assistant pastor. She was, indeed, celebrated by the church, while its founder, Prophet Samson Ayorinde blessed her.
Even at 70, she is still very beautiful, radiant, strong, fit and agile as she does all her things with ease. Having invested in her children, she has begun reaping the fruits of her labour. One of them is the new house she just got from one of them.
