Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele is the new President of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Worldwide. He was appointed by the General Executive Council, the CAC’s highest ruling body, alongside other three leaders of the Church in October 2020.
Their appointments, however, were confirmed in December 2020, while it took effect in January 1st, 2021. The proper inauguration later took place on Saturday 20 March, 2021, at All Saints’ Chapel in the Church’s General Secretariat, Basorun, Ibadan. It was a well-attended and colourful event.
Pastor Oladele is the eight president of the Church. He takes over from the immediate past President, Pastor Akinosun who retired last year.
The new President, no doubt, is a well rooted man in CAC. He has paid his dues and rose through ranks before getting to his current position. He is well read, exposed and loved by all and sundry within and outside the CAC family. He is a prayer warrior. Pastor Oladele also has a very rich educational C.V. Having started his journey into God’s vineyard at a tender age of 14.
Let’s tell you more about him. He was born on Tuesday 30th August, 1955, to the family of late Pa Gabriel and Madam Alice Oladele. He is from Alagbagba in Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele attended CAC Primary School, Alagbagba and at a very tender age of 14 entered into the ministry by training locally under the late Pastors J. B. Akande and J. O. Ogundiran respectively.
He later went to the CAC Bible Training College in Akure and graduated in 1974. Upon the completion of his studies, he was retained on the staff list of the CAC Bible Training College where he worked as a tutor until 1977.
Oladele, however, left Nigeria for the United Kingdom where he attended The International Bible Training Institute in Burgess-Hill, West Sussex.
He returned to Nigeria in 1980 to join CAC Theological Seminary as a tutor until 1983 when he left for the United States of America.
While in the USA he trained further at Berean Bible College, San-Diego, California, St. Louis Christian College, Florissant, Missouri and International Bible Institute and Seminary in Plymouth, Florida where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Theology.
He didn’t stop there, Oladele also went to Haggai Institute for Advanced Leadership Training in Singapore.
He had worked as an Assembly Pastor at CAC Oke-Imole, Ijeshatedo under Itire DCC, Lagos and CAC Agbokojo in Ibadan.
Before he was promoted as a District Superintendent in November, 1991 and served in that capacity at CAC Sanngo District, Ibadan, CAC Oke-Igbala District, Efon-Alaaye and CAC Eleta District, Ibadan.
He was promoted an Assistant General Superintendent in 1996 and became a Chairman in 2002. He was posted to CAC Oke-Ado DCC as Chairman in January 2004 where he remained till his promotion as the General Superintendent CAC (Worldwide) in 2014.
He moved up to the position of President, CAC (Worldwide) in January, 2021. Pastor Samuel Oladele is happily married to Mrs. Susanna Kehinde Oladele (Nee Olawade) and their union is blessed with four sons.
GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT
Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi is holding the second highest pposition in CAC. He is the General Superintendent of the Church and the 12th person to occupy the post in CAC settings. His appointment takes effect from January 1st this year too.
Odejobi was born on 31st July, 1952. He is from the popular Sooko Compound in Ipetumodu, Ife North Local Governor Area of Osun State.
He attended Christ Church Anglican School 1, Ipetumodu and St. John’s Primary School, Omidi Onipetesi near Ile-Ife. Then CAC Commercial Modern School in 1965. But couldn’t go further due to lack of funds. He later joined Binuyo Electrical Works as an electrical technician apprentice and successfully completed his training in 1970. He thereafter joined social musical group. He was a founding member of a social orchestra group known as Oredegbe Social Band in Ipetumodu, under the captainship of Mr. Morohunkeji Olowolawi. He later joined Guinea Ade at Ile-Ife, who later became Yemi Kuti in Lagos.
Pastor Odejobi’s quest to further his education was later granted by God. He later continued his education at Anglican Commercial Modern School, Yekere, Ile-Ife in 1973. Then later to Government Technical College, Owo, Ondo State in 1974. Where he studied Electrical Installation. He began his working career with his cousin, Pastor Taye Odesola in Lagos. He joined Western Textile Mill Limited (Westex) as an operator. He also worked with Five Stars Textile Mill, Isolo, Lagos. He, however, resigned his appointment with Five Stars to fully joined the ministry in 1979.
Odejobi, with direction of God, has been part of establishment of two CAC Churches; Oke Irapada at Oka Oba, Able Egba in Lagos and CAC Transfiguration Church bin Ajuwon, Ogun State. The two churches are today DCC headquarters. He is happily married to Mrs. Folasade Odejobi (Nee Oladele) and the marriage is blessed with lovely children.
GENERAL EVANGELIST
Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye Oladeji, the General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C) and the founder of C.A.C Canaan Land Worldwide, is a well known spirit-filled man of God. He has been General Evangelist of CAC since 2017. He took over from Prophet S.K Abiara of CAC Agbala Itura Worldwide when he retired at stipulated age of 75 in CAC.
Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji was born in Oloba Compound, Edun Abon, Osun State on 13 February, 1967 to Pa David Oladeji, who is a Christian of the Baptist extraction, and Madam Elizabeth Oyeronke Oladeji. He attended Baptist Primary School, Edun-Abon. He couldn’t complete his secondary school education due a protracted illness he had to battle with.
Hezekiah has not only been able to build his ministry to a global brand (with branches in Lagos, Osun, Oyo, London, USA, Canada etc), but has also dedicated his life to service in the kingdom of God.
For a man born in a small village called Edun-Abo in Osun State, into an underprivileged background, to have achieved this much in his spiritual life and ministry means he is walking right with God. His calling, life is filled with interesting episodes.
He was an automobile mechanic before gibin his life to Christ in 1984 in Osogbo. He later ventured into transportation business and the same time making use of his mechanic expertise.
But for the covenant of God to come to pass in his life, he had an accident in 1996 around Garage Olode, where he eventually lived and established what is today the headquarters of his ministry, CAC Canaan Land. The 1996 incident sealed his calling permanently and since then it has been from glory to glory for him. He
GENERAL SECRETARY
The office of the General Secretary is a very important position in CAC. Pastor Ezekiel Mapur is the current General Secretary of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Worldwide.
Pastor Mapur was born on 12 December 1966 into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Ezekiel Mapur at Bot village, Bokkos, Plateau State. He attended Local Education Authority Primary School, Bot, Bokkos between 1974 and 1980; Christ Apostolic Church College (formerly Gospel Bible Training School), Kuba from 1981 to 1983; United Faith Tabernacle College, Jarawan-Kogi, Plateau State from 1983 to 1986
He also went to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained Diploma in Christian Religious Education (2004-2005), Bachelor of Arts in Theology (2007-2008).
He also attended Jos ECWA Theological Seminary where he obtained a Master of Arts in Education in 2013.
He was called to the ministry in 1988 and started working as a Teacher (Evangelist) at Christ Apostolic Church Wamat, Bokkos. He attended Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Enugu between 1988 and 1991. He was ordained a pastor in Christ Apostolic Church in 1993.
He worked as Hausa Translator at Christ Apostolic Church Sunday School Department between 1991 and 1999. He was then posted to Christ Apostolic Church General Secretariat as Special Assistant to General Secretary in 1999 and was there till 2003.
He was posted to Jos as a pioneering Zonal Officer (Jos Zone) comprising Plateau, Gombe, Adamawa and Taraba States between 2003 and 2008; CAC Kuba as second Zonal Chairman and 1st DCC Chairman between 2008 and 2011; Jos DCC as DCC Chairman from 2011 to 2014. He was again posted to CAC General Secretariat in January 2014 as Acting General Secretary and was subsequently confirmed as a substantive General Secretary in October 2014.
He is married to Mrs. Fedelia Mapur and blessed with God-fearing children
FINANCE DIRECTOR
Pastor Johnson Foluso Omitinde was born on 17 July 1951, at Ile-Ife, Osun State to the family of late Elder and Mrs Emmanuel Omitinde.
He had his primary education at Saint Michael C & S Primary School, Ogbon-Agbara, Ile-Ife, Osun State. He went through the modern school education system at Christ Apostolic Church Commercial Modern School, Ipetumodu and secondary school education at Ada Commercial Grammar School, Ada Osun State.
In addition to that, he attended the College of Arts and Science, Cyprus for his higher education where he had his Higher National Diploma in Accountancy in 1981; University of Lancaster, Britain for his Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analysis in 1983 and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) where he bagged an MBA in Finance in 2010.
He attended the CAC Theological Seminary, Ibadan Campus where he had his Diploma in Theology and was ordained a Pastor in Christ Apostolic Church in 1995.
After working with the old Oyo State School Board for eight years, he joined the Christ Apostolic Church as a Treasurer in January 1992. He was upgraded to the status of Finance Director, Christ Apostolic Church in January 2007, the position he still holds till date.
