We are about entering the festive period and there are movies slated to be premiered during the holiday for people to watch, they are highly anticipated movies. Lots of advertisement has been done to promote the movies through billboards and television, and lots of people can’t wait to watch their movies.
SUGAR RUSH BY JADE OSIBENI
Our anticipation for Jade Osiberu’s ‘Sugar Rush’ reached a whole new level. The movie is expected to hit the Cinemas this Christmas and it features stars like Bisola Aiyeola, Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Omoni Oboli, Toke Makinwa, Tobi Bakare, Nkem Owoh Adedimeji Lateef, Zack Orji, Mawuli Gavor, Williams Uchema, Bimbo Ademoye amongst others.
Jade Osiberu also produced major Nollywood movies such as “Isoke and Television series “Rumour has It”.
“ YOUR EXCELLENCY” BY MO ABUDU
The movie titled “Your Excellence” by Mo Abudu. According to the Ebony life film boss “Every Christmas we aim to deliver a good family movie for our viewers and “Your Excellency” is no exception. This time we have Nigeria’s funniest woman as both lead actor and first time director and she delivers on both counts. The audience is in for a treat?
The movie will be released on 13th December 2019. Written by Yinka Ogun, it tells the story of a bumbling billionaire businessman and failed presidential candidate, who becomes a credible contender all through the power of social media.
As the drama unfolds, it seems possible that even a perpetual loser written off by everyone can pose a serious challenge for the presidency.
Directed by Funke Akindele, it features stars like Akin Lewis, Kemi Lala, Shaffy Bello, Kunle Coker, Eku Edewor, Alex Ekubo, Seyi Law, Bimbo Manuel, Deyemi Okanlawon, Helen Paul amongst others.
MERCY MEN 2 BY AYO MAKUN
Ayo Makun’s “Mercy Men” The Real Yoruba Demons is one of the highly anticipated movies and it features stars like Falz the Bad Guy, Ramsey Nouah, Jim Iyke, who happens to be Abuja’s most eligible bachelors and the most notorious, they have thriving businesses, palatial homes fast cars and the attention of women in no short supply but all the ladies call them real Yoruba demons. The Pt2 of movies have additional casts of Alex from long Big Brother Nija, Williams Uchemba, and others stars such as Ireti Ola Doyle, Damilola Adegbeti, Nancy Osime, and lots of others. Directed by Ayo Makun, directed by Toka Mcbaro.
LIVING IN BONDAGE THE SEQUEL’
The movie which was premiered few days ago at the film house Cinema Lekki Phase1, and had stars like Ramsey Nouah, Kenneth Okonkwo, Kanayo O.Kanayo, Munachi Abi, Enyinna Nwigwo, Ini Edo, Nse Ikpe Etim, Kunle Afolayan and others in attendance.
The movie is directed by Ramsey Nouah and produced by Charles Okpaleke.
It came out first in 1992 before Nollywood came to be what we know it as. The Nollywood classic was directed by Chris Obi Rapu who brought the vision to life using a message budget yet still managed to become one of Nollywood?

The movie titled: “Sorry” is from the multi-talented actress Biola Adebayo. The movie has lots of comedy and lessons to the team from the movie “Sorry” will make you laugh, entertain and educate you as well.
It is produced by Abiola Adebayo and it features stars such as Niyi Johnson, Remi Oshodi, Regina Chukwu, Bukky Fagbuyi, Tawa Ajisefini, Bimbo Adebayo amongst others.
