Mrs. Florence Omobodunrisola Da-costa Adepegba is one of the top contenders for the House of Representatives seat for Kosofe Constituency in Lagos.
.She is a beautiful lady who is very vibrant and strong politically. As you read this now, she has intensified her campaign across Kosofe Constituency. Her beautiful posters are all over the zone and is very visible.
For those who don’t know her well let us quickly tell you that she has a rich pedigree in Lagos. She was born in Surulere, Lagos on the 31st of December,1975 into the family of late Chief Lawrence Gregorio Da-costa (past Ajisetoba of Lagos).
She is the daughter of Sir Christopher Olasehinde of blessed memory and Mrs Titiola Da-costa (nee Ogboye) who are both indigenes of Lagos State.
Mrs. Adepegba grew up in her family house at Alausa with her grandparents. She had her primary education at St.Peter’s Anglican Primary school in Alausa Ikeja, and her secondary school was Omole Grammar school, Ojodu Lagos.
She furthered her education, attending Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, where she studied Business Administration. Mrs Adepegba also studied Communication Skills and Project Management at the Watsan Training and Development Centre (WATDEC).
She also studied with HOPE ALIVE (African Centre for Theological studies) as a counsellor and a tutor. she was a participant at Leap Africa Leadership training.
She was formerly a staff with FERMA, Lagos, under the Federal Ministry of Works, where she served as one of the corporation’s top digital and tech officers. She also worked with Doyin Group of Companies as a Sales Administrator before setting up her own company as an avid entrepreneur.
Florence Da-Costa Adepegba is presently the Founder/CEO of Triple Joy Sales and Services. At her company, she oversees the importation, sale and distribution of luxury clothes, accessories, skincare and beauty products. TJSS also handles textile production, printing and distribution.
With a passion of impacting her community, Mrs. Adepegba uses her training as a counsellor and tutor to train women and children in her immediate environment on vocational skills needed for empowerment.
She joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in March 2018 and was an executive for ‘Atiku Ladies 2019’.She was also a coordinator for ‘Atiku Ladies’ in the Kosofe Local government with almost 300 women in the group.
She was a Zonal chairperson, who later became an Executive in her ward (legal adviser) – Ward J (10) Owode Onirin/Ajegunle/Odo-Ogun, Lagos State.
She is happily married to Prince Adedosu A. Adepegba, who is from Ogun State, Abeokuta North, Ago-Owu.
