His throne was brought by the throne bearers, while the staff bearer, accompanied the high chiefs who were heralded by traditional drums and loud chanting of the magnificence of Oba Fredrick Akinruntan. The high throne was graced in golden rimmed with 2 lion’s heads carved into its armrest. The staff of authority was a long silver-coated staff, held by the bearer whose head was held high in the air with the staff in his hands to represent the presence of the king, he took his seat at the foot of the high throne.
The entrance of Oba Fredrick Akinruntan was more than elegant exuding power as it portrayed the great authority and power bestowed on the Yoruba traditional ruler. It was an entrance that had guests bowing as Oba Fredrick Akinruntan stepped out of his G Wagon alongside his Oloris, while the traditional umbrella awaited his presence as it flung open. The traditional umbrella was a big size umbrella carved out of beautiful cotton laced with beautiful silver clothes. His beautiful Oloris; Olori Yetunde Akinruntan and Yeyeluwa Olori Stella Iyalode Akinruntan are always present at his side.

His crown is a well-sitting crown on his head, representing grace and affluence. It is beautiful with carefully placed silver stones that shimmer at every movement. His white-flowing agbada stays white as snow with embroidery that glitters. His shawl is as white as the agbada, but cannot be overlooked as it is covered with carefully placed pearl beads. His Rolex wristwatch has tiny diamond stones engraved into it, and his royal bead is of the source, therefore they carry so much beauty when you look at them. His shoes are a match to his crown, every time, Oba Fredrick Akinruntan steps out.
So when they receive the shine of the sun, they dazzled as they hold expertly encrusted silver stones on them. Wow! What a fashion statement!

He also holds a Doctor of Science from Oduduwa University and a Doctor of Administration from Leadcity University, Ibadan. His imperial majesty is a business mogul. He is usually referred to as the titan of the ball. He is the founder of over 25 conglomerates spreading all over the world, built to last. He is the founder of Obat Petroleum, Obat Refinery, Febson Group, Progress Maritime Group, Ocean View Maritime Group, Optune Maritime Group, Eko Oil & Gas, Obat Fisheries, Obat Agro-Chemicals, Obat Farms and many others. Oba Fredrick Akinruntan is loved by his people because he has raised many sons and daughters in all fields of life. Ugboland occupies the entire coastal strength of Ondo State from Abetogbo to Oye. The indigenes of the Ugbo Kingdom are predominantly fishermen as habitant of a land so rich in natural resources. The land is rich in crude oil in very large quantities. Ugboland’ dates as far back as 1884 when they signed the Treaty of Friendship and Commerce with the British at the Port of Erunna. Ile Ife was first referred to as Ugbo-Wogun and still maintains the name “Ugbo” to date.
Therefore, Oba Fredrick Akinruntan, Osangongon Oba Makin, the Orone sits on the stool from his forefathers who ruled even up to the advent of the Oduduwa. The event played out and by Ifa and Osanye, that the Ugbo people were divined to move to the Costal parts of the Yorubaland.

He is the most paramount ruler because his forefathers founded the civilisation of Yorubaland, which pre-dated the cultures of Egyptians, Babylonians and British. This, according to the Portuguese archives refer to the Olu-Ugbo Pope of the Negro. This was according to their knowledge not just a spiritual leader, but the paramount ruler of the entire world.
