The latest reports from the ancient town of Ife holds that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has gotten a new wife.
After months of speculations that Ooni was set to take a new wife, he finally did. This was revealed to our correspondent in a video uploaded by Moses Olafare, the Director of Media and Publicity to Ooni.
It was learnt that the name of the new wife is Olori Mariam. Arrangements started in March when Ooni sent a high-powered delegation to her family to request her hand in marriage
Unconfirmed sources say she is an Ebira girl and her family lives in Ilorin. Those who know her describe her as a nice and calm girl. Inside sources say she is a lady the Ooni will enjoy because of her humility. Her mother is from Erin-Ile in Kwara. It is the Yoruba-speaking part of Ilorin.
