The sleepy town of Ososa ljebu will come alive today when the recently built Customary Court Complex is opened as part of activities marking the 10th year Coronation of the king of Ososa, the Gbegande, Oba Dr Adetoye Alatise.
The related king of the town told Citypeople recently why there was a need for the Customary court. He explained that because of the absence of a customary court many disputes which could have been promptly resolved in the town get escalated and some are taken to ljebu Ode courts for resolution.
The fact that we needed one over a long period. It was now my initiative to start one and it was completed with funds from Premium Cassava Products Ltd-a subsidiary of Flour Mills Plc
It will be commissioned on Thursday the 6th of August by the Chief Judge of Ogun State and The President of the Customary Court of Appeal in Ogun State from 12noon.
We are expecting the rep of the State Governor, the Alake of Egba Land, the rep of Awujale and so many other dignitaries like Oba Otudeko, Chief Biodun Shobanjo, Maiyegun of Egbaland- Chief Olatunde Abudu etc.
