In what has been described as the first explosion which is to the amazement of everyone, the newly established foundation for the aged, girl child and orphan had its first outing and reaching out today. The visit was a call at the Winiseph Care Home for the aged at 326 Adeyemo Akapo Street, Omole Residential Estate, Phase 1, Ojodu, Ikeja Lagos State.
The world is a place that must always be dressed and make better. This improvement extends to human development and management of various aspects of life.
Passionate Humanitarian Foundation has chosen to identify with the girl child, orphans and the aged in order to reintegrate, ameliorate and give them proper care.
We are glad to be part of the world order for a transformational purpose. The improvement of these old people are our concern which we have taken up as a responsibility to contribute to our immediate environment.
We use this opportunity to invite all and sundry to join us in this life project. We can be part by offering yourself as volunteers or with your substance.
It was a well-attended program with a team of 18 people decked in yellow and black round-neck T-shirts branded with PHF logo and colour.
The team was welcomed by the management and staff of the home on the first day of the month billed for Workers’ day.
The purpose was to identify with the home and present to them some essential items of foods, such as bags of rice, semolina, beans, packs of indomie, spaghetti, bottled water & beverages.
Other items are personal care, daily needs & hygiene products like adult sanitary pads, toilet soaps, disinfectants, body creams, balms, toothpaste and toothbrushes.
The team specifically was comprised of devoted and committed individuals that volunteered to give their services freely for this purpose. They also contributed in other manners such as financial, advisory and physical in order to place a premium on the project.
Interestingly, people from different walks of life have really encouraged the progress and success of this assignment in the way they contribute to making the world a better place.
Passionate Humanitarian Foundation ( PHF ) was incorporated in the month of March 2023 and duly satisfied & complied with the regulatory & statutory requirements of an NGO.
The Convener, Amb Adunke Olatunji who led the team to the venue of the program was highly delighted to have witnessed another pet project in her kitty being fulfilled. She therefore call on those that have been lending good hands of support not to relent and to continue the kind gesture. Only God can reward them and will usually do in multiple ways. Those who are yet to start looking at PHF direction should try to make sacrifices and lift those in need.
We hope this work continues as we are prepared to scale every huddle that may pose itself in any form.
