- Step Out At Their Award Event
The association of professional party organizers and event managers of Nigeria, APPOEMN was formed back in 2011 by 6 top professional event planners, they are Omolara Akinosho Akande, Funke Bucknor Obruthe, Kemi Remi Dairo, Gbemisola Ope, Funbi Akinosoye, Yewande Rwang Dung and their patron is Yewande Zaccheus.
They staged a classy event last week tagged the Event Industry conference which put the executive team on a high pedestal to fulfil its mission to educate, advance, network and promote the event industry. The award night started on a good note with opening prayer, national anthem and the president’s speech followed.
The award proper was in 3 categories had over 70 sponsors and it numbered up to 41 where various party vendors carted away, in all categories. The event showcased many event planners from all walks of life. The association boasts of about 100 event planners which consists of the veterans who has been in the system for over 10 years, the likes of Yewande Zaccheaus, funke Bucknor, Funbi Akinosoye and others while some started over 5 years and we also have some of the new entrants.
