Fare thee well; My Hero.
My great father was the most courageous and resourceful man that I never questioned how much he loved and cared because he made it obvious.
Saba was an incredible guardian, protector and provider who cherished his family.
Today I do not mourn you, rather I cherish the great memories we shared.
Today, I think of you and smile because; I know you’re my biggest fan, the greatest role model I ever had.

Though you are gone, but never forgotten.
How do we console your God-begotten wife, our dearest mother, Yeye Oba Adenike? How do we tell your grand children who are still in doubt that Baba is no more? Our generations unborn must be apprised of you loving kindness;
That you, my hero were a father to live for. Though you are gone, but never forgotten.
Our father was neither an anchor to hold us back nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love showed his family and friends the way.
Life is different without you but today; I’m grateful we got to call you Daddy!
As you embark the heavenly; proclaim our unending love to our little Angel Ololade as you unite and find eternal peace in God’s bosom.
I feel you within me each passing day, I promise, Dad, I promise
…. and I do promise to live life for the both us till we meet to part no more.
Rest on dearly beloved father.

My dear father, it’s so sad to say a goodbye to you. Life has shown us again its hurtful side by taking you away from us when we didn’t see it coming. Thank you for being more than a father-in-law, thank you for accepting me like your own daughter and not a daughter-in-law, thank you for always giving me a listening ear and always finding
a solution to every worries.
It’s so sad the twins (AdefoJarin & Adefolabi) didn’t spend so much time with you but I promise to always tell them stories of how their grandfather was sweet and amazing
Daddy we love you so dearly but JESUS loves you more …

My dear Father-in-Iove,
I am sad to have heard about your demise. Your death is a personal loss to me.
As a father-in-Iove and as a father figure, your absence left a deep wound in my heart. Ever since I stepped into your family, you took me as your own daughter and you treated me as one till you went to be with your maker.
Thank you for always being there for me, thank you for the listening ears, for always creating and having time for me during my distress calls. Thank you for all the advice, thank you for your strong and genuine support. Thank you for being REAL with me Daddy.
How can we ever forget your visit to England, you gave us your very best and we enjoyed your stay with us. Back home, you poured out your heart to my mother (now late) you told her how well she brought me up and how much I cared for you and how grateful you were to have me as a daughter-in-
love. I could not have asked for a better father-in-Iove, you were simply the BEST!!!
It is sad to feel that you are no longer with us on earth, but your love and peaceful memories are still our
guide. We love you but God loves you most. May your amazing soul rest in perfect peace in Jesus name.
Journey well Daddy, you are loved and will be sorely missed.
Your daughter-in-love,
Titilola.
My Dear Father,
You are at peace, your soul at rest. But that won’t stop the tears. As I remember the special times. We shared over the years. You taught me so many things. And you showed me the way. You helped me overcome hard times. To be the person I am today. Though I’m no longer a child. And you’re no longer here. I’ll never let go of the memories.
I’ll always hold them dear.
May your soul rest in perfect peace IJN.

A tribute to my father, the first good man I ever loved. Dad for a good number of reasons which are infinite I love you so much. I feel blessed to have you as my father, and I appreciate the good life you gave me, you are the most disciplined, sincere, transparent, hardworking man and most notable is your neatness which is compare to none and I am glad I emulated that from you. Your fatherly love lingers on in my heart, as you were the last of your parents so am I in your hands and this formed an unbreakable bond between us. Goodnight Baba Oba Thompson Olawale Ogunsanwo
With a heart filled with adorations to the Almighty Olodumare, I write to condole with the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Epe Division, Lagos State, HRM Oba Dr. Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo (Telade IV) and the entire Ogunsanwo family over the departure of their beloved patriarch, Baba Oba Thompson Olawale Ogunsanwo to the world beyond.
To the glory of the Almighty Olodumare, the 86 years of our beloved father was filled with teachings and lessons especially on good living, being a positive influence in one’s immediate society and beyond as well as serving the Most High God.
Records and testimonies reveal that this crown prince of the Telade Ruling House lived a selfless life of service as an industrious young man during his active days and did not compromise his good standard tillhis last day, which earned him the fortunes he enjoyed till he rejoined his creator.
He was a committed family man who prioritized the upkeep of his home and upbringing of his children, grandchildren and other young individuals who came across him with the fear of God which made him an indispensable stakeholder at home and beyond.
God in his glorious ways of compensating His beloved, blessed Prince Thompson Ogunsanwo numerously including the crowning of his son – Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo as the Alara of Ilara, Epe Division, Lagos State during his precious lifetime.
His return to God Almighty is a unique reminder that we all are living to leave this world for where we will give account of our stewardship on earth. Thiat is why we must strive to live a good life like that of the much celebrated Baba Oba Ogunsanwo.
While his absence will be greatly missed by his family members across the globe particularly the Alara, friends and associates, we all should be comforted with the fact that the deceased only transited to take a glorious eternal rest in the bosom of his creator.
Sun re o, Baba Oba!
