Convener, Pastor (Mrs.) Folake Faparusi
Come Saturday October 18, 2025, something divine is about to stir in the heart of Lagos — a gathering that brings hope to the hopeless, healing to the broken, and restoration to the weary. It’s the Greater Grace and Glory (GGG) Foundation Conference, a power-packed annual event that transcends denominations and unites hearts under one banner: impact and transformation.
At the heart of this movement is Pastor (Mrs.) Folake Faparusi, a dynamic minister of the gospel, visionary leader, philanthropist, and gospel artist. As the convener of the GGG Foundation, she has spent the past nine years transforming lives through spiritual empowerment, humanitarian outreach, and community support. In this exclusive chat, she speaks about her journey, the upcoming 2025 conference themed “A Shout for Joy”, and why no one should miss this year’s encounter.

Kindly tell us about yourself and the forthcoming conference.
My name is Pastor Folake Faparusi, and by the grace of God, I am the convener of the Greater Grace and Glory Foundation (GGG Foundation). It’s a non-governmental organization founded with a passion to empower, uplift, and transform lives.
Every October, we hold our annual convention, which brings together people from all walks of life for worship, healing, and empowerment. Our mission is simple — to raise people who become assets to themselves and to society. Through our charity works, scholarships, and outreach programs, we’ve been able to touch lives across communities, giving hope to widows, orphans, the homeless, and the less privileged.
—
For how long has the foundation been in existence?
We began this journey in 2017, so this year marks nine years of God’s grace and faithfulness. It’s been a journey filled with mountains and valleys, but in everything, we give thanks.
The foundation has helped raise men and women who are now impacting their world. We’ve distributed palliatives to widows, provided educational scholarships, supported medical missions, and extended help to the downtrodden — all without government support.
This work is purely driven by the passion and commitment of a few believers who share in the vision. And let me emphasize — we are not in this to enrich ourselves. Unfortunately, in our society, many think NGOs are avenues for personal gain, but the GGG Foundation is different. Ours is a divine mandate to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and restore hope.

What inspired you to set up the foundation, and how have you managed to sustain it for nine years?
The vision was birthed from the scripture in Haggai 2, which says, “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former.” That word sank deep into my heart.
I realized that many people are silently struggling — not just spiritually, but emotionally, financially, and mentally. So, I asked God for a platform that could unite people, regardless of background or belief, and bring healing and transformation.
The GGG Foundation and its annual conference are not for Christians alone. Everyone is welcome — Muslims, traditionalists, anyone who desires a touch from God. It’s all about impact and togetherness.
I’m also a gospel artist, and one of my songs, “Do You Have a Dream?”, captures my conviction that everyone has a divine purpose. Like Martin Luther King Jr. said, “I have a dream…” — I, too, dream of a better society where peace, love, and compassion reign.
This year’s theme is “A Shout for Joy.” What inspired this?
After nine years of God’s unrelenting faithfulness, I felt it was time to lift up a shout of victory. The Bible records how God instructed Joshua and the Israelites to shout, and the walls of Jericho fell flat.
A shout represents triumph — it’s a declaration of freedom, healing, and breakthrough. Sometimes, shouting brings a release — spiritually and emotionally. So this year, we are shouting for joy, shouting for victory, shouting because we are healed, favoured, blessed, and delivered.
It’s not just noise; it’s a prophetic declaration that testimonies are about to overflow!

The conference holds on Saturday, October 18, 2025. What should participants expect?
It’s not about me; it’s about what God is set to do. I’m confident that this year, God will exceed all expectations.
People should come expecting a divine visitation. God is ready to shake the ground and pour out His Spirit afresh. It’s going to be a time of power, praise, and transformation — where lives will be changed and destinies realigned.
—
Can you share some testimonies from previous editions of the conference?
Oh yes! We’ve witnessed countless miracles.
One of our earliest editions was themed “The Midas Touch”, and indeed, everything turned to gold. Another year was themed “Shaken, Not Shattered” — a reminder that even when life tries to crush us, God sustains us.
We’ve seen the sick healed, the jobless gain employment, and the barren rejoice as mothers. One remarkable testimony was a woman healed of cancer after attending the conference. Today, she’s healthy, strong, and a vibrant member of the church.
God has been faithful — every year, the testimonies multiply.
—
What will make this year’s edition unique from previous ones?
This year’s edition is special because it’s a “Shout” season!
We have powerful music ministers gracing the event — Eberechi, a dynamic gospel vocalist, and Abimbola Ray, known for his electrifying Fuji praise. I’ll also be ministering in songs of worship and declaration.
It’s going to be a praise explosion. Heaven will meet earth, and joy will overflow. I strongly believe everyone in attendance will return home with double testimonies.
—
What influences your choice of guest ministers and artists for the conference?
I prayerfully choose ministers who carry a genuine anointing for worship and impact. This year’s focus is on music and praise, so I invited those whose ministries have personally blessed me.
In previous years, we’ve had amazing speakers like Genesis Global, who ministered powerfully. But for 2025, we are emphasizing sound, worship, and celebration — because it’s truly our “Shout for Joy” season!

Aside from the conference, what other initiatives does the GGG Foundation and House of Psalms Ministry International undertake?
The House of Psalms Ministry International is the backbone of the GGG Foundation. The church itself is deeply rooted in charity — from providing accommodation to those in need, to supporting families in crisis.
Our Senior Pastor is a giver by nature, and the church has become a refuge for many. People walk in burdened, but they leave rejoicing. It’s a place where God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things.
—
Finally, what message of hope do you have for everyone as they prepare for the “Shout for Joy 2025 Conference”?
My message is simple: Don’t lose hope.
The fact that you are alive means God is not done with you yet. He has promised to give us “a hope and a future.” Whatever challenges you face now will soon give way to testimonies.
Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard what God is preparing for those who trust Him. So keep believing, keep praying, and keep standing in faith. Your shout of joy is coming — and it will be loud!
God bless you.
