Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone, has said that Nigeria will defeat Iceland in their second Group D fixture at the 2018 World Cup.
Simeone was speaking on Thursday night, after watching Argentina lose 3-0 to Croatia.
The former Argentina midfielder faulted how Lionel Messi and his team-mates started the match and expressed optimism they can still qualify for the next round.
“I see a lost Argentina team. Should’ve started like vs Iceland, a WEAKER team.
“I hope I’m not wrong but I hope Argentina advance because Nigeria will beat Iceland.
“It’s clear today in the dressing room they’re beating each other up. Someone has to fight. Stop breaking my balls!” he said.
Argentina face Nigeria on June 26.
