The agency responded to distress calls yesterday morning 18th September and encountered a 3-storey building with one wing entirely collapsed and the second wing visibly compromised.
A joint team of LASEMA and LASBCA have since completed integrity testing on the second wing and results demonstrate that the building is compromised beyond salvage.
The Honourable Commissioner for Urban Planning & Physical Development, upon presentation of the results has directed that the building be completely levelled to Ground Zero to forestall any further damage or secondary incidents in line with the commitment of Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu’s Administration to the preservation of lives and property within the State.

The operation is underway and Ejigbo residents are urged to steer clear of the area.
