It was celebration galore in Ibadan, a few days ago, when Skincare Specialist,Atinuke Ayelowo,who is the CEO of Lulu Natural Skin Care,Lagos, and her siblings had a glamorous celebration of “a life well spent” for their mum, Mrs. Victoria Ayelowo.
Late Mrs. Victoria Ayelowo,( nee Komolafe) was a beauty Queen in those good old days. She won the highly coveted Miss Kwara Beauty pageant in 1967.
She also succeeded in business as an illustrious and business woman. In the early 80s, she established “The Endurance” a popular chain of salons in Ibadan. In the 90s, she went into Textile business. There she became a prominent textile merchant in the Gbagi market. Her business exploit in the market earned her the alias, “Iya Mujenan”, a Hausa term which means “Mama lets go there”.
Despite her venturing into numerous businesses which she was successful at, Madam Ayelowo still found time to raise her loving children to becoming great personalities who are exceedingly doing well in their respective fields.
She was indeed an accomplished woman, a woman many dreamt to become. She will no doubt be missed by her dear husband, Pa Olufemi Ayelowo; loving children: Olayinka, Oluwadamilare, Olubunmi, Omotayo, and Atinuke; grandchildren as well as many relatives and friends.
The need for the Celebration of a wonderful woman like late Mrs. Ayelowo cannot be over-emphasized. That is why Atinuke and her siblings will never stop celebrating their mum, even after her demise. They deem it worthy as they organized a befitting burial reception party for their mum who died at the age 76.
The party tagged celebration of life was held on Saturday 5th March, 2022 at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan in Oyo state. The venue of the party was full of life as guests came in their numbers to felicitate with the children, husband and family of the deceased.
It was indeed an interesting and colourful party as many of the guests all glittered in the Aso-ebi ,while the children of the deceased wore their lovely Aso-Oke fabric.
The party got more captivating when the legendary Juju musician, KSA and his band boys took to the stage to perform. This was the moment everyone was waiting for as they joyously enjoyed the stage craft of the veteran musician.
Later on each child of the deceased with their respective guests and partners took to the stage to dance with them as they celebrated their priceless jewel that has finally gone to rest in the bosom of Lord Jesus Christ. KSA was at his best for hours as the ageless music icon loaded them with his classic musical collections which still remain green in the memory of many audience at the party.
